Great scope for the money,

Very nice scope, especially considering the low price. Optical clarity is on par with much more expensive brands. Eye relief is not the best, but is passable. Adjustment knobs are excellent, even though the clicks are a little soft. Overall I would definately mount another one on future rifle purchases. Great buy.

Best possible tactical scope for the money,
By Angela M Comeau (Clayton, NC United States) - See all my reviews

I'll start with the flaws first. The eye relief is the biggest one, as has been cited by others. It can be overcome, however. Mine is set as far back as possible in the scope rings, and my head is held probably 1/2" closer than is really comfortable to shoot. Another 1/2" of eye relief would mean all the difference in the world. The optic clarity is on par with most other scopes in this price range. You could probably pick up a Leaupold VX-I for the same price that would have a slight advantage on optic clarity. You wouldn't have half the features this scope has, though. The fixed power is not adequate if you plan on hunting in heavy brush. When your max range would be 50 yards, 10 power is a big handicap.
On to the Positive. This scope has raingaurd, which is one of the greatest features of all time on a riflescope. Breathing on the lens will hold you up for a few seconds at best, even during rain or heavy fog/dew. This scope ticks no matter what, and it is truly weatherproof. I've accidentaly submerged mine twice now with no negative results. Then you have the tracking. This scope is worthy of target turrets. I can shot at 100 yards, adjust to the 500 yard line, then track back the same number of clicks and hit bull at 100 yards again. That can happen all day, as the scope tracks the same way each adjustment. Next you have the mil-dot reticle. The mils measure as mils. I've checked them. They are dead on and accurate enough to range with if you know how. They are admittadly harder to use than the S&B mil-reticle, but you can still range with them fairly accurately. Ruggedness... I've had this scope for nearly 4 years now. I've dropped it, hunted it, shot it, submerged it, and moved it from rifle to rifle many different times. It still holds zero, has repeatable adjustment, and does not fog. I highly recommend this scope, as mine has been nothing but quality. I hope Bushnell hasn't changed that in the past few years.

very, very good for the money,

Have two, both bought from Amazon: one on a NM AR-15, one on a Rem 700 SPS Tactical chambered in 308. Both have better low light transmission than closest NightForce. Clarity is not as good, but darn fine for the money. Excellent range of elevation & windage. During competition, .308 has a 3rd round hit on a 12" x 12" target @ 1175yds, and a 2nd round hit @ 1050yds with a 20MOA base. AR cleaned a 12 target course from 170 to 570yds.
One caveat, turrets have a bit of a break-in: helps to spin them from max to min for a day or two, they settle in after that. Great scope for the money, will probably buy more.
