RainGuard HD
With RainGuard HD, a wet lens or a misguided breath that would fog conventional glass will never cost you a view. This patented, permanent, water-repellent coating causes moisture from rain, snow, sleet, and condensation to bead up and scatter less light, so you get a clear, bright view when other optics would be rendered useless.

Ultra Wide Band Coating
This anti-reflection coating process is customized for every lens element in the optical path, allowing for the best possible light transmission from the front glass all the way back to the eyepiece.

This is a VERY nice scope.

So far, I have used this scope out to 400 yards on the range and I would have no problem trusting it beyond that in the field.

The scope was as good as the day I bought it.....waterproof, fogproof, shock proof.

I am fairly new to hunting and reloading. I shoot precision bench rest as a hobby. Anyways, I was looking for a scope to put on an old safe queen Winchester MOdel 70 .30-06 that I re built from the ground up. The terrain I would be hunting, and the ability of the old boy to shoot accurate placed my "kill" range at about 600 yds max. That being said, I didn't want to carry some huge power scope for miles through the woods and look like an idiot hunting in the trees with a 32 power scope.

On the same hand I didn't want to have a problem shooting at an elk in the trees (50 yds or closer). The 5x15 fit the bill perfectly.

I bought this scope because I like adjustable turrets, wind doping and ballistic calculating on all my guns. I didn't want to mess with scope caps that I fumbled with. The turrets on this scope are A+. The clarity and function is A+. The scope looks a little plain, but it performs well.

My only gripe is that the reticle is super fat. I mean FAT. At 600 yds, your reticle is the size of the entire animal. After shooting some other scopes for long distance Bench rest, which have a razor thin reticle, this thing makes me feel a little cumbersome. If I could change anything, that would be it. But in reality, for the distance I hunt and feel comfortable shooting, this scope does it like a BOSS.

Update: I just took this scope on a 1st season Colorado hunt at elevation. 30 hours of solid rain/sleet/snow at elevation. The scope was as good as the day I bought it.....waterproof, fogproof, shock proof.

***Disclosure - This is my first rifle and scope***

I put this on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical (.308) and found that it is very solid for the price. As I finally "pulled the trigger" on getting my first rifle, I naturally wasn't wanting to spend a boatload on a scope. First, I went down to a 100 yard range to zero it in. The wind/elevation knobs click nicely into place. I did not notice, at first, that you can focus by turning the piece closest to the eye. After I got it set up for my vision, I took it down to another range at 300 yards. Living in Massachusetts, there is not a whole lot of space to take this out further. At 300 yards, it took a little bit, but I eventually started hitting the center of the target with ease. I probably could take it out at least another 200 yards without much issue. I do look forward to testing out the "weatherproofed" lens when I get a chance. So for right now, I am very pleased with this product so far and I don't see any reason why I would need to replace this with a more expensive item.

I have a couple Bushnell Tactical scopes and they are all very good quality. The optics are clear, the reticle is well defined. It seems to be accurate on the range from one to three hundred yards calculated on a one foot square target at 10x. It is mounted on a Rem 700 in .223 and with 300 rounds through it and a wide temp variance (I'm in NH) it has stayed on zero.

I purchased this scope while deployed to Iraq and had it shipped to my house. I mounted it on a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 with quality rings (Don't skimp on rings). I have fired multiple types of ammunition in numerous weather conditions with this rifle/scope combo. I have been thrilled. It holds Zero. It has a good, clear piece of glass. The turrets are easy to adjust and the lens focuses nicely.

I have found that on 15x shooting groups at 100 yards, it is super easy to see your shots. It is also easy to trick yourself into thinking that your groups aren't very tight because when you are zoomed in that close, it just looks like sloppy groups. Then you walk out to the target and realize you have a 1/2" group.

I have been hunting with this scope on my rifle for the last few seasons. I am from Wisconsin, so we get some harsh weather. The scope has held up nicely. I have taken four deer with it thus far at distances ranging from 30 yards out to 200 yards. Terrain has varied from wide open to thick brush. The 5x setting at 30 yards is not ideal, but certainly workable.

So far, I have used this scope out to 400 yards on the range and I would have no problem trusting it beyond that in the field.

I've had countless scopes, but this one if among the best I've had. It's very precise and combined with a BKL mount would get the best from it.
