Not clear on iteams discreption

The back of this is very sticky like some had a tone of tape on it.
The plug connector is lose in the back, just light nudge and it turns off.
No handle.
I do not see how the ipod station up front is waterproof seeing how that rubber seal thing comes right off.
Did not come with remote but showed it in text and display.
I can only hope that the battery life will long enough or that too will be a negative.

Well built tough portable player

I don't believe in making a comment about a product until I've been able to use it for a while. With this item I just forgot to do a review after a while. To bad it isn't available anymore, but if you run across it's worth the purchase. I have been using it for a couple of years and find it a good replacement for my wired deck speakers. Mainly just the fact that I can change what I'm listening to right there on the spot. With the deck speakers which were wired to my computer iTunes I would have to go into the house to change the playlist. The sound quality is very good and the remote works fine. The item is well built and solid it can take being knocked around, and I've used both batteries and plug-in options. If you have the option to use an outlet do so. I like the fact that the unit will recharge the iPod also. Very pleased with my purchase.

I got this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! The sound quality is really good and clear, there has not been a problem so far! I would definitely recommend this, especially since you can take it camping or hang out outside and listen to music without worrying about damaging it!

Best Outdoor iPod player Ever!

I take this iPod player to the beach with me to my beach volleyball tournaments. I always get compliments on the way it sounds, and for the protective cover that seals the ipod in from sand. It uses C batteries that have lasted me ALL SUMMER! I seriously have this playing from 9:30am - 6pm a couple weekends a month and have not yet replaced the batteries!! My old player that used AA batteries needed replacement every weekend of use!! The sound quality is awesome. Even with the volume up as high as it can go, the music is crystal clear - absolutely no muffling or distortion!!
