This scope is fantastic. Some complain about the rings, but I've found them to be adequate. The extension and glare reducing lens are good additions as Bushnell continues to improve their product lines. The vendor (Optic sales) was horrid though, so if you order the scope, do it through amazon or through some other vendor.

I mounted this to a 357 magnum, and the dot seems to stay zeroed even with some hot handloads. It replaced a Tasco red dot which wouldn't stay zeroed with light 38 special rounds. Its nowhere near as nice as $200 red dots, but for the money this works great.

At first I thought the reticle was fuzzy on this tough little camper, but then I realized that - because the dot it being placed optically in the distance - I needed to wear my glasses in spite of the fact that the unit is only one foot in front of my eyes. I put on my glasses and voila: the reticle was sharp as a tack. Holds zero well. I have both the single red, and red/green reticle versions on different weapons.

Only bummer is you HAVE TO TURN IT OFF, or you will slowly kill the battery. I wish it had a one-hour timer on it. I've only lost one battery, but when your life depends on it, you don't want to be out a battery.

I bought this due to the low cost for an entry level AR-15 plinking gun. I was not expecting much, even after it was reccomended by several of my friends. A plus was the fact that there was a 30.00 rebate from Bushnell at the time I purchased it making the cost roughly 38 bucks. I mounted the scope, took approx 20 rounds to zero it, since then I have run approx 200 rounds through the gun and no issued with the scope, it holds zero and does not drift. For what I paid for it this was a great purchase. Also Bushnell sent the rebate with no issues. I would buy another one!!

Having three safes full of rifles....I was giving this scope from my Grandson. I mounted it on my AK47. Very surprised at the quality and extras this scope has. The filter works excellent in the bright sunlight. The rings are quality.Holds zero very well. Multiple dots to choose from and does not "wash out" in bright sunlight at all.I am very pleased with this scope.

THE SCOPE MOUNTED VERY EASY! SIGHTED IN WITH 3 ADJUSTMENTS. HERE IS THE BEST PART ABOUT THE BUSNELL SCOPE: I DROPPED THE PISTOL 2 TIMES RESULTING IN "NO" ADUSTMENTS TO THE SCOPE. JUST AWESOME!!!!!!

I got one of these for hunting down raccoons that had been destroying property at night. Only took a couple minutes to zero in with my laser boresighter. Never had a problem with it and always stays on target enabling me to get consistent one-shot kills. I like the fact I can shoot with both eyes open in near dark conditions since this sight has adjustable brightness and you can turn it down low. you can't beat this sight for following fast moving targets. Battery life seems good since I have had the same battery in it since the beginning of the year and I use it often. Looking to get another for my other varmint rifle.

I have experimented (at my own expense) with several different red dot scopes. The Bushnell Trophy Red Dot is the best I have found, for the money. It is very similar (check it out) to the Ultra-dot, for about 1/3 the cost. I now have 2 mounted on pistols for Bullseye shooting.

I have searched the net and can state that Amazon has the best price.

I bought one of these about six months ago and mounted it on my 12 gauge shotgun, and am about to buy a second one to put on a .22. It has stood up to recoil well, even that of magnum buckshot. It was quick and easy to zero and the point of impact has not shifted. The dot, even on its lowest(and thus longest-battery life)setting is easy to see in bright daylight. The on/off/brightness dial is easy to operate, unlike the other IR scope I own. The one issue with the scope it that the tube is a little too small for super-fast target acquisiton, but if you have it mounted at the right height (which depends on the drop of your stock and the height of your rings) this isn't a problem. In short, this is a reliable and effective little red dot, and you won't find a better one for the price (or even double the price, I would imagine).

I've bought two of these at Amazon. Best price on the net. These are a good scope at a good price.
