I have one on my AR-15 flat-top.Very clear optics, I really like the different reticles which are very sharp, another very cool thing is the anti-parallax, even if your eye or head moves, the reticle maintains the POI. the battery life is also very good. Bushnell has a good name in the optics industry because they always stand behind all their products.

Great scope for Ruger Mark III pistol,

The Bushnell Trophy red dot scope works will with my .22LR semiauto pistol (Ruger Mark III) it mounts easily on the pistol's Weaver rail, is lightweight, looks good, and is easy to use. Of the four different reticles, I found the 3 MOA dot to be my favorite. The other three seemed a little too bright even at the lowest brightness setting (maybe not in very bright sunlight). The product seems to be strongly built and should have no problems with recoil or getting banged around a bit. I've shot maybe 200 rounds with it and it stays in perfect adjustment. Elevation and windage adjustments are easy, using a dime coin or screwdrive. Reticle selection and on/off/brighness knobs are easy to use. In a test comparing using the red dot scope and conventional iron sights, the red dot scope wins hands down. I was able to get very tight groups with the red dot, and not so tight with the conventional sights on the gun, even shooting from a sandbag. I can't compare the Bushnell with some of the more expensive scopes, but I can't imagine how they would be any better. If you have never used a red dot scope before, you owe yourself a treat.

You can beat this for the price. It mounts easy and works great. It comes with scope rings and a polarized lens to reduce glare. It holds tight shot after shot.

This is a great scope. I have another brand Red Dot Device on my Marlin 336SS and I prefer this one many times over. The brightness range is more than adequate for the bright Arizona desert daytime or our darkest nights. I shoot both right and left handed and I find the controls are fine no matter which side I choose. Another excellent buy at a great price.

Nice red dot scope. Comes with vertical split weaver rings (so-so), rubber scope covers, allen wrench, battery (1), cleaning cloth, tube extension, and a polarized filter. Mounted it on a Beretta Neos (22lr). Was using it in bright sunlight with brightness setting 7, with the 65 MOA with 3 MOA dot reticle for close range shooting (25 yards), and I had no problems seeing it. The 4 different reticle's are actually nice depending on what you're trying to do.Unfortunately, I had to return it. Hoping that the unit I got was defective (purchased 3/11/2011, copyright on box showed 2005, though box looked pristine, and unit was genuinely untouched). Basically the reticle would dim or turn off with each shot, and come back on. Seems that the brightness knob jiggles, and this affects the reticle. Happened on all 4 reticles, no matter what brightness setting. As stated before, I had this mounted only on a Beretta Neos, which shoots .22LR, so not a recoil issue. Would have done an exchange, but can't wait 2-4 weeks for a new sight, so just had to go for a refund, but will purchase again when it is in stock. For anyone that does purchase it, give it a good wiggle while the sight is turned on as soon as you get it, as I was able to get the reticle to flicker and dim by wiggling the brightness knob with just 2 fingers. And no, this is not "normal" as I have a BSA RGB red dot scope (which costs 1/3 of what the Bushnell Trophy 1x28 does), and the brightness knob does not wiggle on it.

Good but a bit heavy for a pistol, great for AR,

I orginally had this on my Beretta NEOS 22 but it is a bit heavy to hold at arms length so it can get a bit shakey from the weight. I'm moving it over to the AR15 flattop and it should be great for out to about 200yrds. The selectable reticles are fun at the range but I dont see the hunting practicality. Green and red are both easily visible and the brightness adjustment is substantial and good for all light levels, night to full sun youll see your dot and your target :)P.S. The three larger reticles work great for shooting with both eyes open, try it! Use the smallest dot for marksmanship, the others for run n gun type shooting.

Don't quite see the point,

Bushnell makes a good scope, but don't quite see the advantage of the four cross hairs. I would recommend any Bushnell scope, but not anything but a single 3 MOA dot. That is more than adequate when you have the brightness adjustment. The other three cross hairs put too much in between you and the target. And with the 10 MOA dot it almost covers your target. It sounded cool, but practically it isn't worth it for the extra money. Stick with a single dot and you should be a happy hunter. The scope mounted easily on my Ruger 22 Charger and was very easy to zero in the adjustments. Would recommend a Bushnell to anyone. Would have given it a 5 star if it had just the one dot.

Good little scope,
This review is from: Bushnell Trophy 1x28 Four Cross Hairs Riflescope (Sports)
I have read and agree with most of the positive reviews of this product. I chose this scope over a Truglo open reticular after much reading and review. I wanted a scope under $100. I think I got a great scope for the money. I mounted it on my Ruger Mark III hunter red white and blue TALO edition. I took it to the range yesterday. It was easy to adjust and worked out great for me. I just started shooting as a hobby about 6 months ago and I was tearing some holes out the size of 50 cents pieces at about 30 yards. I have never been able to do that with iron sights. For most shooters who buy red dots, they just want to shoot better groups. If that is what you want, this scope is probably going to be great for you. Unless you want to spend a whole lot more money, you are not going to get a better scope.

For $60, it is the best cheap red dot you can get!,

There are many cheap red dot sights out there, but few are as tough and that exhibit any kind of quality better than the Bushnell trophy series red dot sights. This one is great as it offers 11 brightness setting and 4 different types of reticles. This little guy is light and compact yet very tough, and comes with a sun shade for very bright outdoor settings. Although it uses mounting rings, they hold the scope in place very well and the sight maintains zero very well. Had mine on my ar-15 for 2.5 years now and never had to re-sight it in. It is still as accurate as it was day one! I have not changed the battery yet either after 2.5 years and it is still going strong, AWESOME battery life. A+

I put this on my Ruger Mark III Target and I am very happy. The multiple reticles would be more fun with larger targets, but at 50 yards, you only need the 3 MOA dot. Easy zeroing and not as heavy as expected, but then again, a Mark III Target is a beast of a .22 pistol. Don't buy the cheesy $20 red dot. Save your dough and buy this quality product. Aimpoints are GREAT, but over rated. If you don't mind the added weight, then this is a better buy.
