Too many times the range finder picks up trees or other objects behind the golf flag and gives a false reading.

This little unit works well - I use it for getting distances from buildings to telephone poles for my job - The only problem I have had is finding a reflective service on the building I am trying to measure - I am usually about 300 yards or so away - I t does work but I have to take two to three "shots" at it before the rangefinder acquires the distance. I have been thinking about getting a red reflective board I can place next to the building when the distance if farther away - red seams to reflect better. All in all I am pleased with this little unit - Kenley

The Bushnell Trophy is very compact and light, but that's about the only advantage it has.
The "on" button is very hard to press, making it difficult to keep sighted on your target without using two hands. More frustrating, it was very slow to give readings, and frequently would not read out on targets within 70 yards and closer. Bushnell seems to be slipping in their rangefinder performance. My Nikon Prostaff 440 embarrassed the Trophy badly, locking in on every target up to 440 yards. I've also owned a Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450, and it had the same problem acquiring targets. My old, trusty, Bushnell Lytespeed 400, although big and bulky, was a much better performer, locking in on just about everything I aimed it at instantly. Sadly, Bushnell doesn't seem to build them like that anymore. I would not recommend any Bushnell rangefinder at this time; they are overpriced and poor performers for the money. I'm currently looking at the Leupold RX-600 and Nikon Prostaff 550, which are in the same price range.

I got this on sale and have not been let down.I mainly shoot rimfires and these are a low cost decent option for starters. Seems to struggle a bit out over 250YD on small bodied animals and without the TBR or True Ballistic Range option I have given it 4 stars.

Perfect Starter Range Finder,

I bought this for hunting and shooting on the range. Worked perfect for me and great for the price. Sometimes it is a little difficult to find small objects, but I was able to pick up birds at 100+ yds no problem. The price is great for what you get.

Bought this for use in Duck Hunting. It is really effective when we are hunting in an Unfamiliar Duck Blind and in setting out our decoys

Bushnell Yardage Rangefinder,

I bought this for my husband's birthday, however he told me that this product will view something beyond the pin on the green, therefore giving an inaccurate yardage reading. He is a 4-handicapper, and was looking for some easy way to assist him on the yardage. If this had worked out, he would have passed on the information to his two older brothers that play golf as well and they are also under 6-handicap.
