The quality of these bags appears to be very good, double stitched and sturdy zippers, with a nice, thick nylon shell.

A pair of shoes fits well in one with room left over for lunch, shaving kit, or other small package, the other packs a full outfit (shirt, pants, undershirt, etc.).

For those not looking for enormous panniers, or those who do not want to spend 100+ dollars on totally waterproof ones, these are great panniers.

OK so at first I was really considering going with one of those Topeak MTX DXP trunkbags with the built-in panniers. After much deliberation, I decided to go with the MOAB panniers from Bushwhacker. I'm very happy I did. First impressions-- These are the perfect size for me- can handle a three day/two night trip with ease. To give you an idea of the volume, I can stuff 2 beach towels into either side. They attach well to my Topeak Explorer 29er Disc rack (I have a Specialized Hardrock 29er with disc brakes). The quality of these bags appears to be very good, double stitched and sturdy zippers, with a nice, thick nylon shell. I LOVE the idea that they're made in America. I had great service from Amazon and Robert Sims at American Sports Products. Note that they are indeed black, and not blue as listed in the description detail. For the finishing touch, I am adding the Bushwhacker Mesa trunk bag. Assuming the quality is the same as the panniers, I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the Mesa as well. I'll get up pics asap.

I got these panniers to carry my lunch and work clothes to and from my job and they fit the bill perfectly. They easily fit a packed lunch box, change of clothes, wallet, and keys with room to spare. They attach to the bike rack with metal hooks. A bungee cord with another hook attaches to the bottom of the rack to keep it from bouncing loose. I had to re-route the bungee cord to get it to sit where I wanted on my bike rack but that was a trivial matter and now it sits perfectly with no movement. The inside surface (facing the wheels) is rigid. There are cords and cinches on the outside of the bags to tighten and constrict the cargo. My heels don't catch it thanks to the contoured shape. One thing I thought was strange was that only one of the panniers has a handle (a loop of webbing at the top to use as a hand hold). The handle makes it easier install and remove the panniers and I wish that there was one on both bags. Its not a big deal, at least not enough to take a star away. These panniers make my commute much more convenient and I am glad I got them.

have had one of these bags full time on my mountain bike for a year. Really makes you wonder why some bags cost so much more. The bags are small but just what you need when you are only dealing with changes in the weather, They have very good heel clearance and leave the top rack clear to use cargo nets, lots of places to hook the net on the moabs. I would not hesitate to buy any bag from bushwhacker

Plenty of pedal clearance, not overly huge but with lots of capacity. They are quite stable when empty, not a lot of flapping around. My wife and I both have Avenir mtb racks on our bikes so these hang in the garage for whoever needs them. Easy to pop on before a trip to the store. They work well with a trunk bag.

Heavy nylon with waterproofing on the inside. I have no idea if they are totally waterproof. I kind of doubt it for the price.

I like them.

Edit 2013: I was able to carry a loaf of bread, using the outside straps when I over did at the Fresh and Easy in Palm Springs.

Realize I use these for grocery shopping and not cross country treks. But they are stable, easy to pop on and off, one works as well. But they take heavy loads.

Great bags!

This bag is perfect for those who commute or for those who only have time for the occasional , S24O, overnighters, 2 or 3 day trips. I have a Topeak explorer rack it fits easily and securely. I can easily fit my tent; food; mess kit; couple days worth of shorts, t-shirts, socks and underwear; emergency repair kit; blanket; camping hatchet and odds and ends. For commuting you can store a nicely folded or rolled slacks; dress shirt; dress shoes; underwear and laptop. Although a tight fit due the rail mounting system I can also still use my Topeak MTX trunk bag with these attached. If you are looking for extended tour bags then these need to be moved up front and used as front panniers and you need to get some bigger bags for the rear rack. But for the price, the style and function, their usefullness for the purpose I bought them for, I am giving this bag a 5 out of 5 when compared to other bags in this price range.

For those not looking for enormous panniers, or those who do not want to spend 100+ dollars on totally waterproof ones, these are great panniers. I use them for everyday getting around town and avoiding sweaty back syndrome. They're made of heavy, but lightweight cordura and they don't take up much space -- I easily cram my (full) average sized backpack into one, which is about a full load for one side. If I'm not mistaken, these are made in the USA, which is another plus. I have a pair of waterproof Axiom monsoons and I like these better for every day use (plus they're less likely to get stolen).

I should also add that I have the Jandd Economy Panniers, which are about the same quality (a tiny bit nicer), and cost approximately DOUBLE.

I typically don't write reviews but since there are none ill be the first. I took a chance with this product since I couldn't find reviews any place on line. I just got them in today, set up was easy, quick install and quick take off the bike, didn't care for the fact that they only make green or red, and they look like they are made well (we will see). Total time from open the box to ready to ride was about 5 mins.

With that said I am a firefighter, and when I ride to work I carry my work boots, 2 work T-shirts, 2 underwear, 2 long socks, 1 work pants, PT gear, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. That is the minimum I have to take to work. Well let's just say that I can get one of my work boots into one bag and that's about it. They are a little small for what I need them for. But if you work in an office you should have more than enough room to carry what you need, assuming that you're only going to take some PT gear and lunch.

I'll be looking for a larger bags but these should work great for front panniers if I can rig them up right. They don't look like they are waterproof, but an easy fix with a trip to the local sporting goods store for some spray on water repellent.

It's not exactly what I need but I can't say anything bad about the product as of now. Ill report back in about 6 months after I beat the hell out of them.
