Every aspect of this book appeals to my five year old son, from the idea of turning a street into a playground to the gingersnap recipe, which he wants me to make. A lovely tale about taking your neighborhood and making it a great place to live.

I loved this book. I thought the bright, colorful illustrations were reminiscent of books I enjoyed as a child. The themes of the joys of a slower lifestyle as well as how one person can make a difference were combined to produce a fun yet important book. Thanks Mara
