E-business in a Box offers a custom-designed Web site, complete with an online shopping system designed to accommodate your products and business. Included with this development solution are 12 months of Web site hosting by CI Host and one year of domain name registration. And there are no setup fees. Your credit card transactions--including processing and authorizing--are conducted in CI Host's secure environment. After 12 months, you can continue to host your Web site with CI Host or transfer your site to another hosting company. You own the design once you host your site with CI Host for 12 months.
With a custom-designed administration area for your shopping system, you can quickly add, modify, and delete products from your catalog. You can add new marketing promotions and products to your virtual storefront within a few minutes. Also included is a two-hour initial consultation with CI Host's design team, 10 stock images for your Web site, and a customized form for user inquiries, such as order status.
A customized CD-ROM contains all the files and graphics you'll need for your Web site. You'll also receive a merchant account that enables you to take Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards through your Web site.

CI Host did not fulfill their contract with our Company,

Our saga is long and drawn out. We purchased "E-Business in a Box" on 4-19-02 and were supposed to be up and running in 7 to 10 days. Our store finally became functional on 9-12-02 although there had not been any customization of the store as their sales information stated was to be provided. The entire store was an out-of-the-box, here-ya-go, you-figure-it-out setup. Our main problem, we later found out, is the turnover rate of the employees at CI Host. Our original web designer that we met left CI Host and for some reason our account was put in the "done" pile. Nearly everyone we talked to would be gone within the month so our complaints never got addressed properly. Once we finally got someone to listen to us and try to address our problems, our lawyer sent them a letter at our request to cover our butts to indicate that they were not fulfilling their contract. At that point, all work stopped dead in it's tracks and our web site sat there for the last 5 months of our original 12 month hosting contract. To top it off, when the year contract was up, they sent us a renewal e-mail which I replied to stating that we were not renewing with them. They took $300 out of our checking account anyway and we are currently trying to get that money back.
