A very thought provoking narrative of business history in America,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Business Enterprise in American History (Paperback)
It may appear odd to be rating a text book; however, for those who understand the enjoyment derived from reading a comprehensive study of historical events relating to business, my rationale will be clear.
This is a book I read while obtaining a business degree and I want to emphasize that it is very thorough and informative. Anyone seeking to obtain a more complete understanding of how business enterprise has developed in American history would be wise in picking up a copy. This book merits especially high ratings in view of the fact that it encompasses exceptional coverage of US business history, countless examples, and perhaps most important it provides special insight leading to thought provoking analysis on US industry from Colonial times through to the present. Among textbooks as well as any historical business books in the US, I have no doubt this will rate high among the best available. |
