Author Patrick Schwerdtfeger has created a gem, "Webify Your Business," for anyone wanting to gain a working knowledge of today's web. Schwerdtfeger has brilliantly provided a step-by-step, with each building on the other, program for taking full advantage of today's state-of-the-art web based tools. He provides excellent direction for defining a business model (to insure you really have a business) then delves into the effective use of the web to support the model.

The author outlines how to build a very effective website on a small budget, how to drive traffic to the site, and how to measure the site's effectiveness. He discusses in understandable language how to incorporate add-ons like email marketing and how to be involved the conversation. He covers the effective use of Facebook, LinkedIN, Twitter, YouTube, groups, clubs and blogs.

"Webify Your Business" will serve as a great handbook for novices wanting to learn how to make productive use, for either social or business needs, of today's web. It will also serve as excellent reference book for users who have not yet made full use of the web's power and reach.

Schwerdtfeger has packed a lot in this 200 page book and has done so in way that all, regardless of skill level, will understand.

Patrick writes in nuggets I can process and understand. That said, it's a great tool for my clients I coach who want to get up on social networks but just don't have the know-how to make it happen simply and easily. This is a great resource and guide at the same time. Nicely done Patrick.

This book was highly recommended by one of my communications clients. I bought it and dived in. It is easy to read, broken up in digestible chunks, but the information is pretty basic to anyone who works in web design, PR, writing, etc. One of those "oh, I knew that but it is good to see it confirmed in writing by someone else" type of reads.

Awesome book! Easy to read and easy to understand. A complete step-by-step, and piece-by-piece approach to expanding public awareness of your business. Perfect for anybody who want to broaden the reach and appeal of their service.

What I like best is that the book reads fast because it's written in such a natural and conversational way. At times I felt like I was chatting with the author.

Nothing in this book is beyond reach.

Patrick is one of those people who makes you want to take notes (whehter he speaks or writes). I usually don't like to take notes; but as I read all the carefully crafted principles for increasing revenue by following several clear steps, I found myself reaching for the notepad. Thank you, Patrick, for inspiring entrepreneurs all over the world to use simple tools to demistify complex processes in business and achieving what's on everyone's mind today: gaining persuasive power and yes, making money in the process.

This book is a great starter book because it's not too advanced. In the world of internet marketing and online business promotion, the talk can become pretty convoluted and it can be difficult to stay ahead of the game with news systems and platforms replacing the former ones fairly often.

This book gives fair explanations of SEO techniques and includes step-by-step daily itineraries to keep you on track.

I would recommend this as a starter book, but it may be a bit repetitive for someone who's already been a player in the field for a bit.

I've read quite a few books, articles, and papers on internet marketing, and I found "Webify Your Business" to be the most user-friendly "How-To" manual on the topic. The book is organized into easily digestible bite-sized chunks that flow in a very logical sequence. It also serves as a handy reference manual if you want to look up one particular subject area.

Internet marketing is such a rapidly evolving field, and author Patrick Schwerdtfeger does an admirable job of sharing the latest tips and tricks for building an effective website and blog. He also teaches you how to participate in online conversations with your target audience.

Chock full of useful tidbits and arranged in order, Patrick really explains the what and the why you need to do something, but better than that, he outlines HOW in easy to follow steps.

I've reviewed a ton of Internet Marketing books and I can see why most business people buy it, open it, and put it down after 10 minutes. The information is too overwhelming. This book will be a nice surprise. And if you are already implementing an online strategy, I will be money you'll find at least 10 knock your socks off ideas in this book that will bump your bottom line.
