About the Author

Bjørn Andersen is a professor in the Department of Production and Quality Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also holds a position as research director for the Productivity and Project Management department at SINTEF Technology and Society, one of Europe's largest independent research organizations with an annual turnover of about $320 million. He has published a multitude of books, papers, and reports about performance and quality management. Andersen holds master's and doctorate degrees from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, with a year of the doctorate undertaken at Rochester Institute of Technology.
