A necessary guide for yoga teachers and studios!
I am just beginning my adventure in teaching yoga. This book is an excellent resource for people (like myself) who are not very business savvy to take on being empowered with their yoga business. Disappointing
As I researched books on opening your own studio, this is the only one I found and I was very disappointed. If you have taken any sort of business class this book was bascially alot of obvious information. It quoted so many other books that there wasn't anything original. I guess I expected it would give me more of an outline etc.... I would not recommend this book, going...

Disappointing,

As I researched books on opening your own studio, this is the only one I found and I was very disappointed. If you have taken any sort of business class this book was bascially alot of obvious information. It quoted so many other books that there wasn't anything original. I guess I expected it would give me more of an outline etc.... I would not recommend this book, going to SCORE for small business's would be better help.

I am just beginning my adventure in teaching yoga. This book is an excellent resource for people (like myself) who are not very business savvy to take on being empowered with their yoga business. It is a little technical in some aspects (i imagine that would be PERFECT for those opening a studio) but very clear and concise and straight forward. It had me present to the fact that I am a business person (not "just a yoga teacher") and that I can choose to be an empowered business person or not! I'm choosing to be on top of the game! This book is a great way to make that happen.
