Customer Reviews

I was surprised how well this scope was built.

I ended up giving my father who is a police officer in Oregon my Ar-15 with the other 9X32 BugBuster and he loves it.

OK, it's made in China, maybe the batteries are bad.

I bought one of these. Put one of the batteries in it (it comes with 2), turned it on, nothing. Tried the second battery, nothing. OK, it's made in China, maybe the batteries are bad. Ran to Radio Shack and spent $6.00 on a new battery, nothing. Returned it to Amazon the same day for replacement. They shipped a new one the next day. When I received it, I put a battery in and got the red reticule, but no green. Returned it for a refund. I have had good experience with UTG in the past. You get what you pay for but quality was decent for the price. Amazon gets 5 stars + for phenomenal customer service. E-mailed return pre-paid shipping labels (1 went USPS, and the other UPS, both with tracking) and the replacement and refund were processed the next day.

I just received it and the construction is solid & mounts are awesome. Black reticule was adequate, but the red and green illumination don't work. The red flashed a few times going through the range then nothing. The green never worked, no flashes, nothing. I'm just going to return it for a refund, as the NC Star red-dot I got at the same time works great.

No hassles or fuss with the return & I ordered another, because the estimated replacement time was 2 months. Got a replacement in 1 1/2 weeks & it works great! Just got a bad one...

Bought this scope to put on my first AR and it is fantastic. I have been shooting at 25 yards on scaled AQT targets and the results are amazing. It does everything it is supposed to do and it holds zero very well. I mounted it on a 1/4" riser for my particular hold. I did not secure the riser well to the upper (the scope held on perfectly to the riser). At one point shooting last trip, the riser came lose and the scope fell off, I was prone at the time so it didn't fall far and onto padding. I secured it and screwed the riser back tight and kept shooting and there was NO change of impact, it was right on the money after coming lose, falling and being remounted.

Shooting silhouettes at 100 yards with 6" centers, standing with a military sling, the rifle and scope are 10/10 on the centers with every magazine (California...)

This is exactly what I wanted and hoped the scope would be. It is a 5 star value for the price.

My buddy has an AR with an ACOG and while his reticle is nicer and it is clearer, it is not $1100 clearer or $1100 nicer.

I highly recommend this scope and feel it is WELL worth the money.

The square target sheet looks wavy through the lens.
The size is perfect for AR15, but a pair of high profile ring mounts are needed for comfortable aiming.
Front AO is tight and useful.
