I have never felt so secure and covered up while nursing my baby until I bought this nursing cover. I'm covered from the front and back.

Obviously with a newborn nursing every few hours, it is sometimes necessary to nurse at someone else's house, in the car, or in a public place. I always felt uncomfortable with just a blanket, but with this I am completely covered. Now that my baby is older and more active, I am glad to have something she can't pull off. A great product. I highly recommend.

this cover is really great because it just looks like a poncho, not like a contrived nursing cover. i wear it all the time in public and sometimes just leave it on afterwards. it looks like part of my outfit!

I was looking for something that would cover me while nursing at restaurants. Pulling out the pastel blanket in a dark restaurant and trying to keep it over me, made nursing very visible. This provides coverage and no one notices that I am nursing. I wish that the collar was stiffer so that I could easily see what the baby is doing. I also wish that it was a bit cooler. Fine for indoor restaurants; too hot for outside in the sun!

I bought a black baby wrap nursing cover in hopes of being more discrete when breastfeeding. The material is nice and soft. Other covers seemed uncomfotable, bright, flashy, and hard to transport. I can easily fold this and roll it up into the diaper bag. I sometimes use it as a blanket to cover my daughter when sitting in the car seat. I've even drapped it over the car seat since it has the opening that allows you to hold the car seat handle. The only downside is that it's a bit hot in warm weather- it often makes the little one's head sweat. Then again, works to keep her warm when it's cold.

This is a great idea but not exactly what is was looking for. It does what i wanted it to do (give my privacy while i feed) but it is such a haslle. You have to pull it over your head and it goes all the way around your body.
If you are not an expiernced person in breastfeeding its really hard to see what you are doing trying to get your baby to latch.
I only use it to cover myself when i pump at work now since we don't have a lactation room.

I would recommend this product. It is basically a large shaw, very private and the baby can't wiggle it off. The only problem is that I am not that good at breastfeeding yet and it is kinda difficult to see the baby as you are trying to get him/her to latch on. But I would think it is equally, if not harder with a blanket. My guess is if you have a shaw already you should give it a try instead of buying this one. I will use this after I am through feeding because it makes a nice piece of clothing.
