Great photos and cute rhymes make this a perfect book for our son, especially because he shares his home with two dogs and is exposed to many more at dog agility shows.

My 12 month old loves this book. We read it often and he studies the pictures. I love the simple rhymes and interesting photographs--especailly "doggy diving." We'll be reading this one for a while.

I love this book as well as many others of the series. I have often given these books to new parents and everyone raves about them. Never seen a kid not respond to the book. Incredibly cute.

John Schindel has truly outdone himself with this poignant and profound literary masterpiece! His text is descriptive, poetic and profound - chronicling the activities of his eventful and engaged K-9 subjects. The photography of Beverly Sparks compliments Schindel's unparalleled words of wit and insight as a welcome added bonus to this must-have page-turner! What a book!!

What more can I say? This is a wonderful book -- especially for those who love dogs -- John captures not only their lovely, quirky, individual expressions, but their spirits as well...

I never write reviews for things on Amazon but I just thought I would say that this is by far my 9 month old's favorite book. He is just at the beginning of really wanting to read with us and having clear favorites with books holding his attention longer than others and this is his absolute favorite. It is the first book to even make him laugh. So cute! Great photos. I guess it helps that his favorite member of our family is our dog :)

My 16 month old son loves it!!!! We read it at least once a day.

Our 9 month old son is currently in LOVE with anything dog related. So, when we opened this book, he got SUPER excited. He will just sit and giggle with the book on his own. We love it. (It also makes me want a dog...)

Our one year old asks us to read this over and over again. She laughs at her favorite photos. We all enjoy this book as a family.

We first bought "Busy Busy Penguins" and it was quickly my son's favorite book. So, we also got "Busy Busy Chickens", "Busy Busy Doggies" and "Busy Busy Barnyard". The penguin book is the best but others are also cute. Very durable board books with real photos of animals doing all sorts of things. The words rhyme and are not more advanced words that you expect in a boardbook, but I think it's good for them to hear different sounds, so I like that. These are a good value set.
