5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Art
If you want a little more depth to your art lessons this is a great book. More than an 'arts and crafts' book - gives background of artists, resources, simple project instructions, and easy to find materials keeps the projects low cost. Super for any BUSY teacher.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
I "looked inside" on amazon and saw a different take on teaching the color wheel. I liked what I saw and bought it. However, after receiving it, I found the rest of the book disappointing. If you are a busy teacher, don't buy this book. There are few pictures of examples. The instructions are tedious and vague and the lessons themselves are not that impressive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unexpected, Interesting, August 14, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Busy Teacher's Guide: Art Lessons (Paperback)
When I ordered this, I had already ordered another art packet and was sorely dissapointed with it. When I got Busy Teacher's Guide: Art Lessons, it was not what I was expecting either. It does cover many areas of fine art introduction such as color, shading, contrast, mixing color, etc. This is to be used in homeschool for a 5th grader. While I think the explinations and history are over her head or at the least, even boring for her, I think the actual art, sometimes "crafty" projects might be fun for her.
