Almost everyone will find some of the forms and tips supplied here useful. They range from a well-thought-out job description and contract for a live-in caregiver to exhaustive lists for dealing with grocery shopping, caterers, birthday parties, and disasters. Packed between them are sections of advice on time management and organizing life that have been fodder for a gazillion magazine articles. Still, having the information gathered in one spot is undeniably helpful. Be forewarned that some of the text is clunky and uncomfortably bald: "As you reach middle age and thereafter, you will begin to lose your parents to health problems, dementia, or death...," the elder care section blandly declares.
