5.0 out of 5 stars one of the better slow cooker recipe books
I have gone through a lot of slow cooker recipe books, but this one has proven itself to be one of the best. It's packed full of quick and easy (but most importantly TASTY!) recipes. The author has included a wide variety of dishes, as well - anything you can think of is in this one. Definitely a must for the slow cooker enthusiast! You'll be hard-pressed to find a better...

2.0 out of 5 stars Easy but tastless
While looking at the recepis I thought this would be a good one. However, I have yet to make anything from it that I will make again. The recipies have no taste and have found myself having to toss in some extra ingrediants for flavor. Also, many recipies are the basicly the same with some minor variations. Wasn't please and wished I would have saved my money on this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Cook Book!, August 31, 2006
This review is from: Busy Woman's Slow Cooker Cookbook: Meals Ready And Waiting (Plastic Comb)
This book is a wonderful collection of recipes for the slow cooker. There are a great variety of recipes in this book. Definitely a must have for the busy family as you can prepare the meal before work and have a hot meal waiting for you at home. Using a crock pot slow cooker is especially nice during the summer months so you can still have a good meal without having to heat up the whole house with an oven. So this book gives you a nice selection of meals to try and choose from. This book is definitely a family favorite.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some winners!!, January 10, 2012
This review is from: Busy Woman's Slow Cooker Cookbook: Meals Ready And Waiting (Plastic Comb)
This has a lot of ideas. Some work great, some not the best... I did not have the best luck with meatloaf in the crockpot. But one fav I have cooked a lot is a tator tot hotdish. That one is Amazing!
Simple ingredents, easy to throw together and you end up with a tasty meal. Can not go wrong.

I have made at least 15 meals and they have all turned out great! My husband has even made a few, since they take almost no time to put together! The meals are something my whole family will eat and there is always left-overs since the meals are so huge! We have hashbrowns for dinner and agian for a quick breakfast! Best book for slow cookers I have found so far! You won't be disappointed!

The book was as described and came to my house rather quickly. The recipes are rather easy to make and use things you probably already have at your house. I really like the book and like to just look at it when I don't know what to make for dinner. Great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Cook Book, December 24, 2008

I have used this cook book more than any other I have ever owned. I am not a big on cooking frequently. If you are really busy and working and want a meal to throw together and walk away from, this is the book for you. Also, the recipes are so simple and most of the ingredients I found to already have in my home. I first bought this book for a friend and when she kept on and on about how good it was, I looked through it and went back and bought myself one.

My wife saw this cookbook where she works and wanted one for herself. She liked the recipies and the ease of having meals made with a slow cooker. So I ordered one for her.

So far any recipe I've made from this book has been terrible! Stay away from this book as it is a HUGE disappointment!
