THIS BOOK IS WORTH ABOUT TEN STARS!,

This review is from: But in the Fall I'm Leaving (Library Binding)
I think that this book is one of Ms. Rinaldi's best. I found it when I was combing through my public library for Ann Rinaldi books. Her characters have mainly the same personalities in this book as all of her others. With one exception, they are from about 15 years ago (versus 100). I also think that it is a shame that this wonderful book is out of print. But in the Fall I'm Leaving, is about a girl, Brieanna, who decides to go live with her mom (who ran out on Brieanna when Brieanna was just a baby) after living with her father has become difficult. My favorite charcters are Brieanna and her older brother Kevin. Brieanna is a sophmore in high school, and another one of Ann Rinaldi's brillant creations. Kevin is a priest in his late twenties, and plays a very important role in Brieanna's life. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who can get a hold of it. It is about one of the best books in the world. (To me, it rates second only to The Last Silk Dress.)
