5.0 out of 5 stars Never a dull moment, August 13, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Butcher Boy: Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
A soundtrack that's short (under 40 minutes) but sweetly twisted, this CD includes all the familiar melodies from the film, as well as Eliot Goldenthal's nightmarish circus music and bawdy takes on the "Butcher Boy" theme. Essential listening, even if you haven't seen the movie. My only complain, why leave off Sinead O'Connor's version of "Bundoran"?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sinead is the best, May 29, 2009

This review is from: The Butcher Boy: Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
I'm buying this CD only for the one Sinead O'Connor song, though I haven't even heard it yet, because from the other few hundred songs I have of hers, I can tell that apparently she CAN sing, but it is a sad fact that some people are unfortunately tonedeaf and will never hear half the notes she hits. I feel so terrible for anyone with such a disability, they should get reserved parking at Walmart or something.

On my one there are 15 pieces but they are all brilliant. They bunged off Beautiful Bundoran because Sinead O Connor can't sing
