5.0 out of 5 stars Hypnotic and Priceless
I have to say, when i first saw pictures of KatieJane I was a bit afraid it would be Courtney Loveesque. But NO! Queen Adreena is an amazing bit of music that should be seriously recognized by the industry.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as advertised
The CD we received did not have all tracks listed on the ad/site. This was for my wife's birthday & all I could afford. Thanks for nothing, the track missing was why she wanted the album.

While not a fan normally of screaming in music, I have to say QA makes it fit. Its beautiful and surprising. The feelings you can hear in her voice is real, not dubbed or recorded over. A refresher!
The music beats strangely. Like a dream most of the time and often rising with hard drum beats and amazing guitar work.
Try this one! Buy it. You need it on your way home from a hard day at work. The screaming is good for you! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it, October 28, 2005

Taxidermy, Drink Me, The Butcher and the Butterfly - Three very different albums from a very different band.

Well. What can i say?

If you're new to the band, you should probably go for this one.

It's the most accessible yet, and Queen Adreena really seem to have come a long way from Drink Me.

If you're already a fan, Butcher and the Butterfly will not disappoint. Queen Adreena have produced an album which is angry, erotic, beautiful and twisted. You simply must have this cd. I don't know what else i can say. For me, this is the album of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compared to Eleventeen, September 21, 2008
This review is from: Butcher & The Butterfly (Audio CD)
Remember the grit and the fury erupting from sweet melodies on Daisy Chainsaw's Eleventeen? Fans of that gem can take heart when getting this album. Katie Jane's voice has matured beautifully without losing any of it's edge or ability to evolve from a nearly-inaudible whisper to a bellow that'd make a banshee take notice. And that maturity reveals some incredible lyrics of depth and vision. Crispin's guitars still delivers their razor sharp punch. And the rhythm section will not disappoint fans looking to relive Eleventeen's kinetic chaos. This album's definitely different from Daisy Chainsaw, but the progress from Eleventeen makes an equally awesome creature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty damm cool., July 4, 2007

This was my first album by this band and I msut confess that I am quite impressed. I love Queenadreena's voice...it's so cute and evil all at once. I have no idea how to review this album, as it's kind of an original style of music. It has that whole keyboardish thing going on, but yet there are real drumms and raw guitars. I suppose some might say this is goth music, but I don't think taht quite fits. Actually, I know it doesn't because every classification I have put Queenadreena in (in my ipod) she doesn't fit with the other bands who all make sense playing back to back. Jeez, is this making any sense at all? Anywaysy, this album is good, and I think more people should know about it...than again, it's kind of nice having a fovorite band that nobody else has heard of.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing, August 14, 2005
This review is from: Butcher & the Butterfly (Audio CD)
this, in my opinion, is QA's most coherent and listenable release. KatieJane is more understandable singing-wise; there are fewer indecipherable slurs. Very dark, melodic, and inspiring. Now get it.
