I put this on my winchester 94 to go plinking and hunting a couple of times. Works great. Look up the M1907 US military sling instructions online for proper attachment and use as a shooting aid. I would have giving this sling 5 stars but the hooks come out from time to time. Maybe I'm not doing it right? Or else the leather is slightly to thick. Don't let that discourage you, I spent days hiking and climbing with my rifle slung across my back with no danger of it coming loose.
