I am in the very beginning stages of filling out this journal, so maybe I'll grow to like it more. But for now I am kind of bummed out. A lot of the questions are kind of dumb and there is very little space to answer them. My biggest complaint however, is that there are no lines for writing your answers, just blank space. I'm a little OCD and I like my writing to be nice and straight and so lines would really help me out. For my last pregnancy I used the Anne Geddes pregnancy journal which seems to be out of print or something.... I was quite satisfied with that one. Not as many questions to answer, but more space so you could get into more depth. And.... LINES!

I am adding to my original review:

I've spent a bit more time using the journal and I have NOT grown to like it more. In fact, I like it less. In a nutshell, I think a lot of the questions are dumb. And the journal asks the same dumb questions every month. For example, "Are you remembering to take your prenatal vitamins?" is a question asked repeatedly. WHO CARES!?! I'm a responsible adult; I think I can remember to take my vitamins and I don't think it's worth noting every month. In fact, I am so displeased with this journal that I forked over 35 bucks to buy the out-of-print Anne Geddes journal that I used and loved with my last pregnancy. I would say skip this journal and try a different one.

The book is well laid out, but asks to many "how are you feeling" questions and provides too many "what else" space. There are too many spaces for writing in this journal - although it's only each month. As for recommending it, it just depends on what you are looking for. If you want to write a lot, then this is your book. It's a true "journal." If you are looking for a journal AND a pregnancy guide, this is not your book. Good luck!
