The Butterfly Three Star Table Tennis Ball Six-Pack contains six of Butterfly's three-star 40-millimeter table tennis balls in either white or orange. Butterfly's three-star balls have been chosen as the official ball of the ITTF World Junior Circuit through 2007 and were the official ball of the 2004 North American Olympic Doubles Trials. USATT and ITTF approved, only the best table tennis balls are included in Butterfly's three-star packs, and are chosen for their exceptional roundness and consistency through a rigorous quality-control process.

About Butterfly

Hikosuke Tamasu founded Tamasu Co., Ltd. in the small town of Yanai City, Japan in 1950. This was the beginning of a company career which is almost unique in table tennis. All the skepticism I had about the true quality of this product went out the window very shortly after unwrapping it. The eveness of the bounce, and smooth overall feel of these balls leave similar products by Stiga in the dust. It is very rare to find a product that actually performs as advertised. I really think that I got what I paid for, and then some!

Perhaps all ITTF approved 3-star balls are the "same" if you use a new ball every match. But in my experience, Butterfly balls last a whole lot longer than others. Get a pack and try it for yourself.

I bought 6 pack Butterfly 3-star balls. I used one of them and it had no uneven bounce and had a clean finish. I play TT with a group of guys who love to smash this ball as hard as they can. It lasted not more than 15 games (21 point game) or 3 days. I do know that some cheaper ones can last longer but they do have uneven bounce.

I hope my review is some sort of benchmark to measure the durability.
