Don't Let The Butterfly Fly Away!!!,
By dogeneedtakeship "The Loveless Fascination" (San Jose, California USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Butterfly (Audio CD)
When I first heard Crazy Town's first single I was feelin' the beat but wasn't sure about becoming a fan, but when I heard "Butterfly" they took me by surprise and without a doubt I was a fan over night. What I am proud about is that Crazy Town is not like most hip hop/Rock groups that are afraid to release remixes. These remixes live up to the original version believe it or not, I am a die hard remix fan and a die hard fan of Butterfly. Track Listing: 1.) Butterfly (Album Version) = This is the original version that I'm feelin and hoping that you be feelin' it to. This has a great beat and infectious catchy lyrics that no one can resist, not even me. 2.) Butterfly (Epic Mix) = This remix is not like that of the original, it actually an original of its own. This beat is not even close to being similar to the original beat, and it carries a hard and heavy dark beat. 3.) Butterfly (Extreme Mix) = The beat to this remix starts out like that of the original but it lives up to its remix name because it is beyond extreme. This is more rock friendly to all you rock peeps out there, the is very hard and you just wanna move with it. 4.) Butterfly (Jazzy Jim Mix) = I bet you can guess what this remix is of, its jazz... Yeah right. This remix is pointing more to the Rap/R&B side, but I must admit I can't hate against it. I'm really feelin' this remix along with the other ones. 5.) Butterfly (Instrumental) = This is the instrumental version of the original song for all you wannabe rappers. Just kidding, I'm sure most of you can rap good, this is cool since you can holler out the lyrics to just the beat. I hope I was helpful and convinced you into buying this single, this way you wouldn't miss out on what everybody is talking about. This comes with 3 remixes and an instrumental track, you can't lose. Buy and try, I'm sure you'll like!

THIS SONG IS GROWING ON ME!,

I used to not like "Butterfly" by Crazy Town, because I thought it was annoying and obnoxious that it was being played on the radio too much. But now, after listening to the song more, I'm starting to like it. And not just LIKE it...LOVE it!Crazy Town definitely has talent and they are a cool band (I recently saw an interview with them on an MTV special). "Butterfly" is just a really good song that needs to be given more of a chance (many people may compare them to Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Limp Bizkit). So give "Butterfly" a good listen; it has good lyrics and Crazy Town has some great vocals. Cool CD-Single! And great buy!

GRRRRRRRRRRR!,

The moment I heard the chorus of this song, I was a crazytown fan. Never have I felt so strongly about a metal/rock band, but now I find myself breaking into "Come mmy lady, come, come my lady, you're my butterfly, sugar baby." The beat is simply outstanding and not to sound like a groupie or anything, but the guys of crazytown are HOT!!!!!! Hey, I would tell everyone alive to buy this CD as it is just really good and while it is very provocative, as long as you're over twelve, I think you'll enjoy it. A REAL hard rock fan probably wouldn't like it very much as the f-word isn't uttered ever two seconds, but it doesn't have to be. There is real talent here and real music worth a listen. Just try it and feel free to e-mail me all your complaints about it. I don't mind.

EXTREMELY COOL LOVE SONG,
By Alicia (BitchVille, Cali, USA) - See all my reviews

Yeah yeah, it doesn't SOUND like a normal love song, but that's exactly what makes it so cool! It has a VERY catchy melody. This song is much better than regular love songs because normally guys REALLY over act while they're singing. It's moving in the beginning but sickening after a while. "Butterfly" is a cool, smooth honest sounding love song. It's a feel good song. And I love it!!! For the timebeing... But anyway, it's great! Buy it!!!

GREAT SONG FROM A "AWFUL" ALBUM!,
By
This review is from: Butterfly (Audio CD)
"Butterfly" is one of the best rap songs I think in pop music history. Unfortunately this song is lost on one of the worst albums of our time. The group has talent, unfortunately I think they will be a one-hit wonder, lost in no mans land of VH1s "Where Are They Now?". If you like this song, just buy the single. Because from MTVs heavy rotation of the video, you think they are a group that is borderline rap/pop, but once you see their album cover you will know they are a heavy dark rock band, that somehow got a song with rhythm, hooks and great beats. Word to Crazy Town (horrible name for a band)take the money and run with "Butterfly", re-organize, soften your sound and hire a good graphic designer for your album covers.
