4.0 out of 5 stars Singer Name on Duet Daddy's Little Girl/Butterfly Kisses
The name of the singer on the cd butterfly kisses who sings the song "Daddy's Little Girl" is Kippi Brannon. I was also curious on this, and just did a little "googling".

3.0 out of 5 stars Furthermore
Jeff Carson definitely didn't write Butterfly Kisses. Furthermore, he was already well established as a singer with his earlier release "Real Life", which had three songs on it that received heavy radio play.

5.0 out of 5 stars butterfly kisses is a great song for a father and daughter, May 15, 1999
By A Customer

My father passed away about six months ago and this song has touched my heart, and made dealing with this tragic event a little bit easier. I want to thank the writer of the song, this song has said the feelings that are shared between a daddy and his little girl!

For a Jeff Carson fan, this CD does not miss, though the songs are slightly less known than some of his bigger hits. Best song to me is The Stone. Never heard it before I bought the CD. Great song, great tune, great message.

4.0 out of 5 stars Butterfly Kisses, July 30, 2009
This review is from: Butterfly Kisses (Audio CD)
Butterfly Kisses was played at my daughter's wedding for her dance with her father. There was not a dry eye to be seen. The song totally summed up the closeness between my husband and our daughter, she has always been been "Daddy's Little Girl". This song just totally brings everything home to us as a family and the love between father and daughter. Jeff Carson does a beautiful rendention of this song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jeff Carson, October 9, 2002

I am confused as well. The first reviewer states that Carson claimed writing this song. And I agree with the second reviewer that Jeff Carson sings a much better version. I do give Carlisle the credit for writing an amazing song, and he did a good job singing it, but the emotion and range are not the same as what Carson gives it.

5.0 out of 5 stars This album has the wrong title. More like 12 Gems, April 24, 2000
This review is from: Butterfly Kisses (Audio CD)
Jeff Carson has the best, most talented voice in country today. The songs like Butterfly Kisses was an excellent remake. He has enough talent to run against Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson. This is worth is people.
