5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful story for adults and children, April 6, 2000
This review is from: Butterfly (Hardcover)
This book is a wonderful tool for introducing children to concepts of individual growth and social interaction. It also conveys the deep sense of mystery and beauty that is the natural world of life in all of its forms and moments. The story of the transformation of the caterpiller to the butterfly is accompanied by great illustrations and it is a story that serves to remind us, as adults, of the marvelous, wonderous beings that we are and that we live with and within.

5.0 out of 5 stars The myth for our times, April 8, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Butterfly (Hardcover)
Simply put, we all need to allow ourselves to adapt to our changing environment. Norie Huddle gifts us with the magical butterfly moving out of the caterpillar stage, cocooning itself within the opportunity for transformation and waiting with seeds of patience for its final manifestation. Not many people know that the butterfly donated its DNA for the creation of this planet. A beautifully illustrated book for adults and children.
