The racket came in a day earlier than expected and I was pleasantly surprised. The racket uses Butterfly Yuki rubber onboth sides. My Senshu racket uses Flextra rubber and the Yuki rubber on this racket feels as sticky, though not quite a powerful as the flextra. The tape on the side of the racket is a very nicenylon ribbon material and it gives the racket a classy look. In play, the racket is ver well balanced with great spin and control, making this an ideal racket for the intermediate player. It also has 2.1 mm rubber which gives it a little extra "oomph" on slams.
Overall, I am very hapy with this racket, while not as fast as my Senshu, it is half the price of that racket and has 9/10's the performance.
This paddle ratting is...
It's written in Chinese I think. Great investment if your looking for a paddle that is well built.
Plus it comes with a case. Can't beat that.
It's a very nice paddle. Significantly heavier than a cheap lightweight one, which I find helps me control it. The rubber is very sticky and soft, which gives me an amazing amount of spin and control. In particular, I am able to return smashes and execute loopy top-spin shots far better than I have ever been able to before. However, this paddle also deadens the ball in terms of speed. I really have to smash it hard to get much speed out of the ball. For me this is a good thing, since I have a lot of trouble with control with harder paddles, but some players might not like it.
Overall, I'm very happy with this paddle, but as I said I don't have a lot of experience to make good comparisons with other products. I think just about any beginner or intermediate player would be very happy with it.
The paddle structure itself seems solid and has a crisp feel to it. The handle is comfortable but extremely stinky. After playing for a couple of days, the sweat transferred to the handle literally reeks. But this is a minor inconvenience and it fades after a week or so of playing.
Overall, It is a good intermediate paddle with a decent balance of spin and speed.
However, it doesn't do either extremely well. You will find yourself working hard to get major spin or major speed. I would recommend it as a very good practice paddle but if you are planning to use this for competitions.. you might find it lacking.
The racket just felt really cheap in it's construction. It didn't have any speed to it. Worse still, the rubber on one side of it had a huge air bubble underneath it - and when the ball hit this spot, it would drop dead!! I don't know where they store these rackets, but it's pathetic that they are delivered this way. My first returned product on Amazon in more than a year.
Very disappointed with this buy. Wouldn't recommend it to others.
P.S: I always felt Butterfly rackets are better than their Stiga counterparts, but this one is definitely an exception!!

The quality of the paddle is much worse than the numbers stated in the description. It's a very amateur racket.Published 18 days ago by Amazon Customer
I have the 402 version, Penhold style. For the money (similar to 401), it gives me much better spin and speed than my 20 year old Butterfly. Read morePublished 23 days ago by Rose Bud
Exceptional paddles! Very sticky when I get it but the stickiness gets faded as I use it but that's expected. I like the carrying case that comes with it as well.Published 1 month ago by Ron
Good for beginners and intermediate beginners. I liked the size of the handle that nice and round, gave me a good grip of the racket. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Duy D. Nguyen
