Enjoyable and entertaining!,
This review is from: Butterfly (Paperback)
Butterfly is very well written and takes you on a wonderful journey into young womanhood. It brought back many memories for me from a time long ago. I purchased a copy for my neices and they are also enjoying it. They hope that another is published soon!

From the moment I began reading this book, I was hooked. There's nothing like a good coming-of-age story, and "Butterfly" was everything I hoped it would be. I could relate to many elements of this novel--I too grew up in NJ in a similar time period. This novel, however, transcends time and place. The themes in this novel are universal--you don't have to have grown up in NJ in the 70's to be able to enjoy it as much as I did.

This book captured my heart and my thoughts as I read the book in its entirety in one sitting. I felt like I was right there with Tia through all her experiences in life feeling what she was feeling. I would tell anyone to read this book, I know I couldn't put it down. CandiceS

A Young Girl's Journey of Transformation: from the caterpillar to the butterfly,
By
This review is from: Butterfly (Paperback)
"Butterfly" is my first self-published novel, inspired by events that happened growing up in Burlington, NJ. But you don't have to live in Burlington or even NJ to be able to relate to the title character, Tia Brooks, as she approaches the summer of her 11th year. Any young woman, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother (you get the idea) will be drawn back to that time in her own life when everything changed: or when she began her transformation from the caterpillar to the butterfly. I hope that you will enjoy reading "Butterfly" as much as I had writing it.

I loved this book! I didn't want to put it down and when I had to, I couldn't wait to get back to reading it. I was able to really feel and understand what was going on in Tia's world. I would definitely recommend this book to all ages!
