About the Author
Barrie Watts is an award-winning natural history photographer. He has produced photographs for the Eyewitness and Stopwatch series, and for the Franklin Watts series Minibeasts. The Watch It Grow series has been both written and photographed by him. Barrie lives in North Wales.

Just as I requested . ..,

I ordered this book as a gift to a friend for her grandson. My boys pored over this book when they were little and we even went so far as to buy a fennel plant so that Swallowtail butterflies could lay their eggs. We weren't disappointed! So, I gave the book to my friend along with a fennel plant hoping that they'd share the same experience.
