Milt unfolds our identity in Christ not only individually but as a believing community. He uses the transformation of the caterpillar to a butterfly to illustrate our life in Christ. As you read a marvelous discovery unfolds before your eyes. You begin to see who Christ is not only in you but in us as the Church which is His Body. Milt enlarges our perspective of the Christian life to see from the Divine view point rather than from the human side. This alone is worth the price of the book. You will be encouraged and refreshed as you prayerfully meditate over its pages. Milt writes in a personal and simple style so one can understand and grasp the material without a seminary training(thank God!) I definitely recommend it!

In this book Milt has done a wonderful job of laying out the broad view of what our life in Christ Jesus is all about. Within the introduction Milt asks the question that everybody will ask many times over in their life - What is the Purpose of my life? - In this relatively short book Milt is able to present an awsome picture of our life in Christ through the process of a life in metamorphosis. He tells the story through the eyes and experience of a Caterpillar/Butterfly named Fred. The message is this book is simple in its presentation but very powerful in challenging ones view of the life of Christ in us. The book is very easy to follow and understand with simple questions and statements like

"Christ in you the Hope of glory" - Do we really believe it?"

"...this event shows us how metamorphosis works. The life within breaks forth and is expressed without."

"You already are a new person inside."

"God has already provided a cocoon environment for you."

"Cocoon life means that you are growing into Christ together with your brothers and sisters."

"So learning the Word of God means to learn Christ. This is all about learning a Person and that Person is a community made up of head and body."

"We learn this person by relating to all his parts. We learn about life from this corporate/community."



From Birth in Christ right into the Kingdom of God on this earth Milt is able to take you through, in an easy to understand way, this process of transformation. He explains this process without bringing the reader under a law or burdening you with a bunch of stuff you need to do. I recommend this book to anyone who is seeking for understanding in who you really are.

Read this book and enjoy a different view of the journey we are on with our Head Jesus Christ and us, His Body the Church.

Like Milt says, we all live in a day when the truth about our identity is not being proclaimed very much at all. So Milt sets out on a journey to lead the reader to Christ where the reader soon comes to "see" or better, to KNOW his 'true identity and purpose'.
You'll hear the truth about who Christ is... about who we are... and the eternal purpose of God.

The sad situation today is that believers just don't know who they are in Christ... so us believers are working hard at trying to become something we already are. For example, we already are saints, holy, pure, blameless, sons of God and so much more. We are in Christ and He is in us individually and corporately. We already have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ; we already have the love of God, the gifts and callings of God and so much more.
Problem is: We don't know it. We've been working hard at trying to be good individual Christians, but most of us have missed that Christ is a corporate Man.. the new Man.. a new Creation of which we are an integral part, marked out in God even before He created.

Read this book and have the eyes of your heart enlightened to see the Father's glorious Son in all His splendor and glory! I can assure you that you will be encouraged and edified more than you could ever imagine from just reading a book. Milt's simple style is full of Truth.. full of Reality... and will cause you to stand up take your rightful place in His Body.. in His Kingdom...in His Grace...so that He is ALL and in ALL.

And one last thing: If you can, I recommend that you prayerfully read this book and then read another of Milt's books:
The Temple Within: Fellowshipping with an Indwelling Lord. These two books make excellent companions and will be such a blessing to you as you seek to Know and Fellowship with your Lord.
