I just received this controller and haven't had a chance to try it out. But I'm somewhat dismayed because the button layout on this Nyko controller is the very same as the official Nintendo controller. It has the B button on the bottom, A button on the right, Y button on the left, and X button at the top.
From the pictures I thought the button layout was the same as the Xbox360 controller with A being on the bottom and B on the right.
Maybe the controller buttons are mislabeled but I'll try it out and see.
This is really confusing. The picture is like the 360 controller for A (bottom) and B (right) but like the Wii U pro controller with Y on left and X on top. It sounds like you're saying the picture is wrong but, rather, than the picture being wrong with X/Y it's wrong with A/B. It doesn't make any sense to have the stick on the bottom of the controller face and then keep the normal nintendo layout of B on bottom and Y on the left. With a control stick on the bottom like Xbox 360 it should be A bottom, B right, X left, Y top.
Please do let me know how it works after your test!
The Nyko controller I received was NOT like the pictured controller. The stick layout was correct as pictured but the button layout on the controller I received was EXACTLY the same as the official Nintendo controller: B - bottom, A - Right, Y - Left, X - Top. The picture led me to believe that the controller had the same button layout as the Xbox360 controller: A - bottom, B - Right, X - Left, Y - Top.
Maybe Nyko redesigned the controller and the picture on this listing is of the older controller; I don't know.
But the one I received is NOT like the one that is pictured and I'm returning the one I received.
