I purchased this item on a whim from Target one day as a "just in case" item. I was in my first ever accident today and I think that this item is the only reason I was able to keep my head. It provides instructions of what to do and it also provides all of information to collect. It even includes a mini clip board, pen, and camera. I would recommend this item to everyone and plan on buying one for everyone I know for Christmas.

Great product for a new driver to have in his glovebox. Compact and easy to use. Has lists of necessary information that a new nervous driver (or even a seasoned pro) might not think of should they be involved in an accident. Great Christmas idea!

This is a well-designed product with lists, cards, clip board, camera and pen. It all fits into this cute little "notebook". Im pretty obsessed about organization and this definitly passed the test.

Pros:

Cons:
expensive, you can get a cheaper version at Wal-mart for $15
doesn't have a measuring tape

All in all it's a good product that I'd reccommend, but I would suggest looking for a cheaper one with a tape measure.

I saw this at Container Store last year right after my daughter got her first car, so I bought it for her as a gift. Thank God I did. This evening she was in her first accident - a rear-ender on a busy California freeway - and she said that she was shaking so bad that if she hadn't had this collision kit to guide her through what to do she would have broken down.

Every driver should have one of these. I bought one for myself after I got my daughter hers, and I love that it's a central place for my insurance and DMV info. I don't have stacks of old papers clogging my glove compartment anymore.

Anyway, the most important thing is that my daughter is ok. Thank you, whoever thought of this idea, for helping in this near-tragic situation.
