FINALLY .... A book that actually helps me! I highly recommend this book. I have been going to yard sales and flea-markets for years but I never knew how much I was missing. The "Good Better Best" guide to name brand items is a great research tool. The sourcing guide has great places to buy and sell items - I never thought of going to some of these places but now I will give them a try.

I like that they do not try to fool you into believing that you are going to be a millionaire like a lot of the eBay books on the market. The information they give really works, it is easy and does not cost anything to start - so there is nothing to lose to try. The best part about this book is the stories. They are fun, informative and show you what to do and what not to do.

My husband and I have been selling on ebay for about three years now, and we're always looking for new information to help improve our business. This book gave us a lot of great ideas which we put into action the first week after reading. It's an easy book to read and understand, and we both couldn't put it down until we were finished reading. If you're not into ebay, it also gives great advise on other avenues for selling your goods. Buy this book, you'll be pleased!

This is a great book that I recommend. I purchased the book for the guide but it provided so much more. I have been selling on eBay part time but was always in need of things to sell - NO MORE. Thanks to this book, my husband and I went to our first storage shed auction (recommended by the authors) and we purchased one full of great things. Inside the shed we purchased are some great antiques, some very nice china, some English porcelain figurines, tools but the best was a jewelry box. The jewelry box had 2 14kt gold necklaces and a 14kt gold ring with a beautiful ruby. It also was filled with tons of very nice costume jewelry! We are going to make a ton of money off this one purchase - thank you Daren and Nancy for this wonderful book - I Bought it - I'm selling it - and I am MAKING MONEY -- YA

I am very excited about this book - I have only had it for two weeks and I have already made back three times the money of what I paid for the book! The advice is straightforward and the Good, Better, Best guide in the back helps me find the right items to buy so I don't make mistakes or miss opportunities. This is not one of those get-rich-quick books -that tells people to invest in real estate or the stock market. This is a great book about reselling (or Being a Flipster) everyday items and luxury items -that can be found at auctions, garage sales and flea-markets. I started out with just $10.00 on my first trip and was able to buy great stuff for resale. ! It is very exciting to be able to buy something and then resell it for a profit. It is like going to Las Vegas and pulling down the arm on a winning slot machine - but you win EVERYTIME

I really enjoyed reading this book - it provides useful information on how to buy smartly and invest in your purchases instead of just buying things because some ad on TV tells you to do so. I think any person who buys things to resell or is planning on trying that business must have this book! However, you do not have to be an eBay seller to get beneficial tips from this book. I do not plan to buy items for resell - yet, I found their information practical and helpful for my everyday life. The information is presented in an easy to read and understand format - conversational and actually very entertaining.

A more honest title should have been "A beginners Guide to buying at garage sales and selling on EBay."

Their secondary title was why I bought the book. "your Guide to finding and reselling Luxury Goods for Personal Wealth."

They show a "Complete Description" in Chart Form of their August and September 2006 purchases from Garage Sales, Auctions, Estate Sales, etc and then selling them on eBay and Netted $1,070.75. This is their INFORMATION, Netted that is Profited $1,070.75 for TWO MONTHS of work. That's like $535 per month NET. Oh by the way, Their Net still has to pay for gasoline, boxes, packing material, eBay fees and PayPal fees.

I'm guessing they really netted less than $75 per week.

This is not exactly my idea of creating Personal Wealth per their secondary title of their book.

Again, if you are new to buying and selling then this would be a good beginner book.

Very good book - informative and interesting - provides useful information - I reccomend it.

* This is not a common book explaining on ways to make money but the tips and strategies it used really has help me on how to find a really cheap product and sell it high.
* After reading this ebook, I make lots of profit from my eBay business.
* I wish I had read this book earlier so that I make money at home when I was young.
* Trading is a good business in nature. The best thing of all you may not need your own product at the beginning. This book will help you where to get that cheap product to sell.

It is a practical book. Useful tips. If the pictures in color would be better.
