It says right in the description it is PLASTIC!!! Of course it is a toy!! And it only cost 3 dollars to boot. Wouldn't that tell you it's not real.
My kid loves hers with her costume.

I more or less knew what I would be getting, but this is anything but an adult sword. It is a plastic child's sized sword. It arrived in a box that was considerably shorter than it, resulting in a bend to the sword that has never completely gone away. That said, it was a perfect compliment to a boy's Peter Pan costume. My son loves the soft handle and the fact that it is "light and wavy" -- he is 7.

Same thing happened to me..It says fencing sword.
and it looks real but it's not I'm sending it back.
