For those looking to purchase a horse, this book is a wonderfull way to keep track of different horses confirmation, pedigree, and positive/negative traits. I thoroughly recomend it.

Whether you're looking for a show prospect, or a horse for the family, this is a good tool to have while you're trying to decide. The illustrations are clear and easy to understand, and makes the buyer aware of things that might be overlooked if there wasn't a checklist to keep them on track. There wasn't a section discussing temperment, but I'm assuming that the authors knew that the main goal would be working on keeping the potential buyer focused on the conformation aspects rather than how much they love the color or the dispotition of the horse. Horse Buyer's Notebook is something I plan to take whenever I go look at a horse from now on.
