If you were to buy a dinosaur, which would be best suited for you? This book will help you find out!
My son is 5 and a budding paleontologist. I was quite impressed that there was even a dinosaur in here that he had not heard of! He looked very carefully at every page, beautifully illustrated by Marc Brown. I could see him concentrating and considering which dinosaur would be best for him.
We thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book and there is no question that we will read it over and over again!

Many kids already love dinosaurs, but this book is taken to a very creative and humorous level in the form of a pet guide for dinosaurs. I know this book will happily be read multiple times in our house. Great illustrations by Marc Brown. Perfect Holiday or bday gift!

My daughter and I love reading this book together - starting from its hilarious premise -- a pet guide for DINOSAURS??? it is a funny, sweet, and engaging reflection on how much we humans love our pets, no matter the size. Brown's illustrations are wonderful and the combination offers parents a welcome respite from your typical picture book.

Five stars! Both of my kids (ages 10 and 6) loved this book. Finally, a book about dinosaurs that's great for kids of all ages. This adorable book has appeal for little kids (they love the idea of dinosaurs as pets) and older kids (interesting facts about a variety of dinosaurs, and not just the usual ones). And, of course, it's funny! Where else can you read about using a diplodocus as a roller coaster? I'd recommend this as a great gift for any dino-phile.

I'll pick up anything that Marc Brown illustrates - and "Caring for your Dinosaur" is not only beautiful, but a good story too! If your child is anything like mine, Dinosaurs are an object of endless fascination. This book treats Dino like any other pet, and provides step by step instructions on how to integrate your pet Dino into your life. A fabulous first book from Ms. Rennert, and the perfect bed time read for your three year old Dino-maniac!
