This game is great! There are alot of things to do, and futz with... which is something that I look for in a game, and it's funny as heck! And I wouldn't have missed the discussion that ensued over where this game is coming from with my mom... In my opinion this is the video game andy would've played. Atleast that's how it came across to me. Highly reccomend you try it out!

This game is great! There are 8 worlds,14 levels. 3 missions are in each level! You can use hyper jet packs,lasers,beam swords,bombs, and others,also hand-to-hand combat! You play as Buzz Lightyear. The game starts as:Buzz in his first year of Star Command,and he has to do missions for his captain. There are 11 bosses, each of them are tough! Usually they fight you in hand-to-hand combat! Some of the Boses are: XL, WARP DARKMATTER,ROLLTA,CANDRA,SHADOW BUZZ,AND MORE! I can't beat zurg! He has powerful kicks and punches!Also the huge blaster ray on his arm is "Lethal!" when he turns it to level 11 that when a big beam comes out!I have spent 7 months trying to defeat him!!!!!! I finally know how! It will take everything you've got to defeat Zurg!!!!!!! "For the Star Command!",i kept repeating it while i was battling ZURG! Then i beat him! I wont tell anyone how, so you must figure it out for yourself! This is the best game in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See Ya!

This game is excellent, I mean even though I am older then its rating, I stioll think this us one of the best games I have played. Believe me, it is addicting as heck. Fighting Zerg was just about as raw as drinking coke after being thirsty for ever. Oh yeah watch put for the hornets. They bother really much. I can't really type a strategy guide, up but I will tell yuo this is one of the best games I have played on the Playstation.

To the last guy, this is PSOne, not PS2. The cel-shaded design is fine. This game is easy though. But you "race" the bosses to a certain area. If you beat them there Mirra comes and weakens them about halfway down. I recommend it, but it probably goes in a few categorys.
Action - Of course it is.
Racing - You race the bosses.
Third-Person Shooter - You got your guns, weapons, rays, and other 'sci-fi' stuff.

This game was great. There was on problem I had though because whenever you jump off a ledge and land on the ground you fall through the ground like it was thin air. The firs two enemies are the easiest. They are Torques henchman and Gravitina. The rest are fairly hard and the courses get longer. It is really fun on hard level because you get to explore the worlds more. The graphics are good except for the fact that everything ele other than Buzz do not have black lines surrounding them like a cartoon. The music is very forgettable and pretty much just blends in with the sound effects. The characters are incredibly detailed. The voices pretty much sound the same. I think they should have made it so you could go into Boosters house on Jo-Ad. It's cool because yo can her the animals on Jo-Ad in the background and even see a few Moosles, cow- like creatures. They also should have made it so you can use the wrist-ray for an alternative to the handheld laser guns.I thint they should have added just a few more enemies and details like Natron,the space mummy or the Shape Stealer. I also think they should have made it so you can go in the irrigation tunnels on Boosters farm. They should also have un-lockable characters like Evil Emperor Zurg or Warp Darkmatter. Other than that the game is fun and enjoyable. Irecommend this for those of you that watch the t.v. show.

This is the lamest game in the entire universe. A badly cel-shaded RACING platformer. Yah. You RACE guys then kill him.
Just buy Crash Bandicoot for PSone or Ratchet & Clank of the PS2. Just ANYTHING but THIS!!!

This was the worst game that i ever played. If you think it's going to be a continuation from TOY STORY 2, IT'S NOT! First of all it's more like a race car game than an adventure game. I bought this game for my seven year old son, and he is a buzz lightyear fan, but he can't stand this game. You have to collect all these items to advance to the next level, and that was fun, but even when he collected all of the medals the game still would'nt let him advance. I thought maybe he was missing something, so I gave it a shot,and I could'nt get past the fourth level. I collected every coin and beat the big boss at the end of every level and the game still would'nt advance me. what fun is that??

First of all to all that didnt like this game and found it difficult....On each level there are 3 different things u need to do to advance further in the game...You have to collect enough coins, u have to find all the aliens, you need to race the clock, and need to find XR's missing parts. It is a very challenging game and is not for true gamer's.

So grateful and excited to have found this game. My son has been asking for this game for several months. Finding it with such ease and confidence through Amazon made the process even better. Thanks to the seller for delivering on time and beibg true to the description.
