A Great CD Set (if you buy the set), May 28, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
Yes, what the other reviewers are saying is true. The CD listed here is only the first disc of the set advertised on TV, hence the short track list. I received the TV set for my birthday (two discs), but I feel that it is important to note that what I got was this disc and the CD Non Stop 90's Rock, also by the same people, with a sticker on the case reading "The Buzz: Disc 2." Between the two, it was the true set, with the same track list advertised on the Musicspace website. Either you could order it from there or buy both CD's here... with Amazon's free shipping and the shipping cost at Musicspace, it will cost you about the same either way, give or take a dollar or two. As for the actual set, I think it is great. Most of the songs are ones that I really enjoy, and rarely do I skip a track. Also, I'd like to mention that my set was not edited for radio, at least, not all of the songs, most notably the Everlast track, which I believe was mentioned by a previous reviewer... Actually, the last three listed tracks are different. Belly's Feed The Tree is not on the actual collection, and the last two are on Non Stop 90's Rock (or disc 2 of the Buzz). Hopefully, if you choose to buy the CD, the option you choose will make you happy, because it is a great set.

"The Buzz" - Generic Version of "The Buzz" One CD...??, May 16, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
I recently purchased "The Buzz" on Amazon as many probably did to save money as opposed to buying the one sold on TV and at MusicSpace.com, assuming it was the same 2 Set Music CD "WRONG"...! This CD from Amazon, even has Musicspace.com stamped on the back of it, it also has "As Seen on TV" on the front of the Jewel Case. What a rip off! The way I see it, they should state that it is not the same version "As Seen on TV" very clearly to the consumer. I cannot believe they advertise this CD as if were the same 2 CD set as the one on Television. I will be sending it back and demanding my money back. I have never seen nor do I believe this "The Buzz" Music CD version has ever been advertised on TV ever! This is gaining profit from consumers under false pretences in my opinion. I feel as if Amazon is purposely deceiving their customers with this version of this Music CD. In my opinion, this is nothing more than a hoax, and a scam. I will most likely never do business with Amazon.com anymore; this is the second bad experience within the past couple of months for me buying from Amazon.com. Thank You,

Watch out for this buy. The disc that Amazon sells you is not the same as advertised on TV. I was very upset when I saw that there was only one CD, half of the songs you see on tv arent even included.

This is not the same item as on TV but Amazon does have it, November 29, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
The original "The Buzz" 2 disk set offered @ Musicspace.com is not offered here; this is only Disk 1. But if you buy "Non-Stop 90s rock" then you will have the set. "Non-stop 90s rock" is disk two of "The Buzz". So buy them both and your all set. You will only save about $1.50 in the end with Amazon so its up to you if having it in 2 separate packages is worth saving $1.50!

Buyer Beware, May 11, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
Seller's do not disclose to the buyer that this is only one disc in the set. Many will think it's a great deal, but buying one cd brand new for $15 and not getting the whole set is not a deal. Buyer beware.

Beware of Radio Edit, May 4, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
THE BUZZ is the mass retailer, single-disc version of the Razor and Tie label's two-disc tv offering. While it does not include some of the most influential artists of the nineties (no Nirvana, for example), it offers a solid representation of the decade, including such artists as R. E. M., Collective Soul, Sublime, Third Eye Blind, and Filter. Unfortunately, the disc contains the radio edit versions of Sublime's "What I Got" and Everlast's "What It's Like." These edits, as well as the inclusion of the pervasive Soul Asylum's "Runaway Train," are the reason for my three-star rating for this disc. By the way, those looking for the second disc of the tv-offered version of this album should purchase NON STOP 90S ROCK, also issued by Razor and Tie and available from Amazon.com.

Buyer Beware Indeed, May 12, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
They do not tell you that there is only 1 CD when there's supposed to be 2. If I would've known, I would've at least liked to have a choice of which CD I wanted. And $15.00 for one CD is NOT a deal afterall.

Really bad, don't waste your money, November 9, 2006

The sound quality sounds like it was recorded off the radio. Plus there are words bleeped out.

Great songs, but where's the 2nd cd?, May 12, 2004
This review is from: Buzz (Audio CD)
Let me start out by saying that this is an awesome cd withb a great variety of songs. But, if you were one of the many who saw the comercial for this cd on tv, you might have noticed that it was 2 cds that were included. The cd that's on Amazon includes only one. You have to buy it on tv if you want both because stores won't stock this for awhile. The one on Amazon has a few great ones like Zombie by the Cranberries, What it's like, and many more. Each is a great tune. On tv they want 27.00 for it! What a rip-off! I'll settle for the one on Amazon for now, and will buy the 2nd when it comes out in stores. It saves money.
