Ok folks, Im not a major fan of non grass roots guitar rock BUT these guys are amazing. My first exposure to them was seeing them live in St Louis when some friends dragged me out. They took my breath away. Christy and julie (the 2 singers) have incredible voices individually, but when they mix it is simply magic. Ive been hooked since. Buy this CD (and their others) now, you will NOT be dissapointed

if music was a lottery, this would be the winning powerball,

It is very rare for me to come across a CD that grabs me and pulls me in fully. I am a DJ and musician, and have been over exposed to the point of near numbness when it comes to hearing something new. This CD woke me up. The first moment I heard one track from the CD, I immediately bought the entire back catalog and was absolutely floored. This is a mesh of ethereal vocals blended to perfection with dashes of Eastern influence and trip hop beats. If you love the Hyperium bands in the Heavenly Voices vein, you will not be disappointed. But it is not limited to fans of ethereal music, because I have played this disc for people in all genres of music fandom, and even the most particular of them were very impressed. If you buy just one CD this year, I would suggest this one.

Get ready to be transported to a nearby far away place,
By A Customer

MSL's third cd captures the high energy sound of their performances while transporting the listener to the dark world they live in. On first listen, you might want to get up and dance. Start listening to the lyrics and you realize you aren't in Pleasantville anymore. The two vocalists, Julie Schreiber and Christy Cameron Smith, alternate on songs about everything from paranoia and heartache to despair and frustration. The guitars and percussion are handled by Paul Fini and Amy Spina who rock you on your journey to their soundscape. Keyboardist Preston Klik keeps everything together despite all that is going on. The band has been compared to everyone from Morcheeba,Portisehead, and the Sneaker Pimps, but one day some up and coming band will be compared to them.
