A book that calms the soul. Easy to read, with poems that invoke memories of wonderful times in the outdoors. Very innovative; the blank pages allow the reader to jot his or her thoughts as poems are read, and thought about.

I gave copies to friends as a different gift and as a way to say something that can't be said with a necktie or a coffee mug.

The book, Buzzes and Flutters, is wonderful for any age level. It is a very calming book while at the same time being thought provoking. The design of the book is very unique. I loved the way blank pages were included throughout the book allowing the reader to spontaneouly write down his/her thoughts. It gives the reader the opportunity to illustrate what come to mind when reading the beautiful haikus. The haikus in Buzzes and Flutters created pictures in my mind as I read them. Buzzes and Flutters is a book as well as a journal. I would highly recommended this book as a gift to oneself, as a gift to a friend, teacher, or family member.
