I know there is at least one other person out there like me. You bought an amazing house compilation years ago (Cafe Del Mar: Chill House Vol 1) that got you hooked on the sound of downtempo, lounge, and house and you've been buying compilations for years hoping that you'd find another one as good as that first taste but all of them have fallen flat. Well, thanks to the ever so talented Mr. Ben Watt I have found my own personal Holy Grail. Buzzin' Fly 2 is simply superb and transcends description. Every second of this CD oozes with smooth house beats that just melt your soul. As soon as this CD hit my player I punched repeat and let it spin three times in a row. Amazing. HIGHLY recommended to any fan of smooth chill house music, to fans of the later dance oriented Everything But the Girl material, to fans of Ben's Lazy Dog series, and anyone that was ever disappointed by a house music compilation with the word "Ibiza" on it. Ben Watt has an ear for this genre like no other. This is perfection.

This is a to-die-for album...absolutely perfect. And I'll bet you can't guess what it's best for...that's right...when you're alone with your honey on a Saturday night...want the ambience...the beat...the perfect beat...the coolest, sexiest lyrics...wow...I cannot stop listening since I got this album two months ago. Have had many "successful" moments in its thrall....love to Ben Watt. I will try others and look forward to more...

this is the best house cd in years! , for the true house music fan , it does not miss a beat ,ben watt has started his distintive sound for house music that will last forever , if you liked vol 1 of this series , you will love vol2 , recently saw him at the winter music conference here in sunny miami beach , and it was a blast , buzzin fly vol 2 is the way that true house music should sound for decades to come ....

u know when i first recieved this cd the 1st thing that came to mind was that i was just 2 high-brow for my taste but the more i listen the more i find it truly irrestible. i find some tru gems on here but it sefinately has some low moments but the highs are so darn good that anythin' less than 5 stars would truly be a travesty. i will outline the high points for you and you should find then helpful.

#2 is bangin', but it could have been so much better if the phrase "new your style" wasnt repeated a thousand times, not necessarily a dub, just less. alltogether it sets the sexy head-nod that this cd inspires.

#5 is a lovely trip down 'horse-gallop lane. (listen and you will know what i mean) this song goes well with many atmospheres. it is fun enuf for a graduation party and sexy enuf 2 have a dancefloor full of couples grindin' under the late-nite lights of new york. it has a middle eastern drum and synth complimented by a middle-eastern vocalist which makes it very misterious and fun at the same time.

#6 switches hemispheres quite fluidly to a latin american house haven with a killer sax melody over some raw latin drums and keyboards. i find this song quite irrestible.

#8 is just plain ole good stellar house music that will move your head along with your soul.

#10 is a euphoric house track that could have taken me over the top if the synth would have kept on going up instead of the emotional roller-coaster that it led me down but the producer 'nookie' defiantely acheived the emotion he was trying to get accross and that was almost certainley 'angts'. definately a fun ride nonetheless.

#11 ........OH WHAT A TRACK!!!!!! 'senti-sabi' is one of my top 2 tracks of '05 (with mozorovs' "fly guitar" on d2 t2 of nick warrens shanghai, bieng my #1). this song has spanish lyrics that compliment a driving synth in a way that is devoid by all but the most intelligent and discerning producers. i cant say enuf nice things about this track except "get it", this song will get you ready for the club or ready for that date that you have been anticipating.

#13 in my opinion is the beginning of the build-down of this cd and it does so with a carefree, light-spirited driving baseline that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face because, try as you might, you will not be able to stop your head from moving. i simply love the effect that this song has on my psyche'.

please buy this if you like 'good' music not just house and you will not be dissapointed.

Out of all the house albums that I have bought in years, only few of them I go back to and still listen from time to time. And thanks to the superb talents of Ben Watt, I have found another one! I always listen to a good album for about 3 months, then I throw it away but even though Its been almost a year that this album has come out, I still listen to it. just push it into ur cd player and let Mr. Watt guide you on a smooth, flawless and wonderful music journey. Unfortunately, buzzin fly # 3 is not as god as this one.

I've been anticipating this album for months and I am certainly not disappointed. The beats ebb and flow from this sweet sweet CD. Anyone who loves San Fran Deep House sound will love this disc.

To mirror what has already been said here by other reviewers, Ben Watt has compiled an exceptionally delightly mix of some of the most unique and colorful house music on the planet. His Buzzin' Fly series is tantamount to the Nude Dimensions series bringing you never before heard of tracks from the likes of Jerk House Connection, Hanna Hais, Savannah and Unity, to only name a few. But no track on Buzzin' Fly is more stellar than Sophian Rouge's beautifully percolating "El Wahrania" that mixes what sounds like looped steel drums with some sexy atmospherics, quirky strings and some guy singing in Arabic. Nevertheless, Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly Series in its totality is a refreshing release that should not be overlooked by any fan of the deep house music genre. Highly Recommended!

What an impressive CD. Great song selection and perfectly mixed. It you liked Buzzin Fly 1 you will love this one.

this is a true blue print of ben watt's deep house movenment. after winning the "Best Breakthrough Label"of 2004 House Music Awards, there was no reason for ben watt to stop to promote his label. it's been only a year since buzzin' fly launched and already creating huge buzz! very low key sound than the first one but still amazing mix. "senti sabi" could be the best buzzin' fly single. look out for Ben Watt's North American Tour dates!

Better than the first. If you are a fan of Lazy Dog or Ben Watt, this is a must have.
