I first encountered this fragrance at my local Nordstrom(King of Prussia) in late 2006. I sprayed it on my wrist and continued on my shopping day. Later that evening when I got home, I kept catching myself positioning my wrist (was sitting at the computer) near my nose just so I could smell it.

Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir to me is an almost intoxicating scent. 4 Years later it is still my go to scent. I have dabbled with others (Escada Sunset Heat, Lacoste Challenge, Burberry Sport) but I keep coming back to this one. I've gone through about 3 bottles in the 4 years. I am lucky (or unlucky depends on how you look at it) to have "potent skin"? Basically I only have to spray one or two sprays (usually base of the neck front and back) and it stays all day and won't really fade. It also helps to apply right after a shower and after moisturizing.

My first impression upon spraying the Soir is a verrry earthy note. The only thing I can compare it to is dirt, and I mean this in the absolute best way possible. Like the dirt that was in the garden of Adam and Eve just before he bit the apple. The dry down (which I find addicting) is an somewhat metallic(similar to Chanel Platinum Egoiste yet not as "soapy" smelling) yet smooth tea/citrus(kinda like acqua di gio *shudders*) scent. Its a great combination of scents with the Darjeeling tea and Bergamot really making it for me.

I am not someone who really has a "day cologne" and "night cologne" or a "going out cologone". So I wear this one to school, work, play, heck I wear it to bed sometimes haha.

I wear this for one reason and reason only. I like the way it smells. I don't care who likes/dislikes it. I think it the only way to have a cologne "work" for you is to buy one YOU like. Not one you think OTHERS will like. Every cologne reacts differently to each persons skin. So when you go cologne hunting make sure to take this into account!

I highly suggest get your hands on a sample. Actually spray this on your skin (don't just use a little sample stick) and then re-visit it over the course of the day.

Now onto the other stuff. The packaging is classic BVLGARI. Its simple, yet extremely classy. The bottle has a substantial heft to it. Watch out for the lid, Its made of real metal(imagine that!) and quite heavy! The spray is pretty average though. Just enough for me!
Overall I give this one a 9.8/10 (for the spray, its not the absolute best...that award for me goes to Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree)

Elegant, pleasant, refreshing and wears well. It is quite suitable for the boardroom and evening as well. I used to like RL Romance and Aqua di Gio. This is my new favorite. It is not mellow, or strong either and rather more elegant than the evening only Aqua di GIO.
My wife (Lancome-Tresor only lady) is much better at judging parfums than i can ever be, doesnt like quite a few colognes. She immediately liked this one.

This fragrance smells fresh from the shower clean. It so good that when I smell it on my Husband, my nose is called to the pulse point where I sniff then purr like a sex kitten. Meeeeeeeeeeoooowww!

My wife loves the smell of Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir. She got me my first bottle of it while we were on vacation in St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) and when it ran out she couldn't find it in any local department stores so I ordered it thru Amazon.com She says that she finds the aroma "Peppery & Potent". I have no idea what that means but if it makes mama happy then it makes ME happy;.

Here in Bulgari's Pour Homme Soir you will find a light urbane touch. In the early evening in Rome the city goes out for a passagatta along the Via Del Corso. Young, old and everyone in between they are all there, and as the walk and flirt and window shop the arresting aromas wafting from the side streets entice them to explore. With the truly lovely opening of papyrus and Darjeeling tea I too was enticed by this simple fresh but none the less fascinating fragrance. It lead me on into the evening to discover the mysterious ambers at it core and the sharp surprise of the southern Italian bergamot. Just as the evening view of Rome from the Tinita dei Monti church above the Spanish Steps at the end of your passagatta is enchanting, so too is this fragrance.
Lasts 8 to 10 hours on my skin - the last three or so it is very close and intimate to the flesh. Five Stars*****

Great adult smell. The ladies all complement and ask about the brand. Has a great profile and distinguishes you from all the teenagers and adults that drench themselves in standard brands.

I've never been a fan of cologne. My brother overused his Aqua Di Gio and that experience had persuaded to not want to ever apply cologne to myself. One day I decided that I wanted to have a scent of my own. It was down to Pour Homme Soir and Burberry's "The Beat" - I ended up getting both but this scent definitely takes the cake.

Smells great, clean and classy, subtle but enduring. It lasts for hours, but in a way that is a world away from those nose-killing cheap fragrances we usually crash with around everyday. It's genuinely a "must consider" one.

I'm so happy with this perfume, that i'm going to buy an other one soon because i'm running out of it, and I just bought it like two weeks ago...and I love the price amazon sell it, so I hug.

Probably due to my mistake in ordering, this Bvlgari product has a different fragrance from what I was used to. But it was a pleasant surprise which I am immensely enjoying. The fragrance is mystical and
not easy to describe in simple words. But it has a prolonged effect and even at the end of a day, I can detect the enjoyable fragrance.
I am glad I made the mistake in my order so that I came to know another Bvlgari product.
