what a fantastic cd. high energy, rockin' album. this is their 3rd release. "by the way" has to be one of the most prophetic songs ever written. ever. the ballads on this release are also beautiful. great song writing, great playing, all around great release. when it first came out of vinyl, it was on a small label, billingsgate. could never figure out why a major label never picked them up, or why they didn't get more recognition (aside from the small label). get it now.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Progressive Album July 28, 2002
By daniel
Format:Audio CD
This Is A Terrific Album From This Great German Progressive Band (Certainly The Best Of The Band).
You Will Hear The Atomic Hammond And The Blistering Vocal From The Power Singer Inga Rumpf. And The Rest Of The Band Are All In The Same Level Of Quality. In Some Pasages You Will Remember Focus And Camel, in others Atomic Rooster, With The Same Quality.
So, If You're A Collector You Must Buy this cd. Or Your Progressive Collection Never Will Be Complete.

4.0 out of 5 stars when this is reissued, buy it April 29, 2009
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Where most prog bands steered clear of straight rock and blues, Frumpy embraced it.

There is a lot of pretty basic riffing on here--the first song would not be out of place on an album by the Almans or the Flying Burito Brothers--but to this framework Frumpy added long, jazzy keybord solos and interludes that were out and out prog. They didn't reject basic rock, they just enhanced it.

The results are always brilliant, rock and roll seen through a more complex prism. It is melodic, adventurous and ballsy all at once.

Fantastic record/
