Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou

I purchased this doll along with the Mommy Make Me Better Chou Chou during the holidays. I gave one to my little girl and gave one away as a gift. Before deciding which to keep I tried them both out and noticed Bye Bye Chou Chou was extremely sensitive and seemed to activate too easily and accidentally. Her voice was not as natural as the other Chou Chou. This is a cute doll if you turn her off and play with her as an ordinary baby doll with her bonus carrying basket. I would recommend the Mommy Make Me Better Chou Chou instead which is extremely adorable, very lightweight, with cute and appropriate functions and sounds.

This doll is pretty good! The only downfall is that any little movement that you make with this baby, it talks.

My daughter enjoys this doll. The only complaint I have is that I wish they would make them a bit sturdier. She is a cute doll and fun to play with.

I would prefer a baby doll that doesn't make any noise and is just nice and soft and cuddly (this one has a hard plastic box in the belly for the sound box) for imaginative play. However, my daughter's first Chou Chou this size was ruined in the washing machine (not recommended, but she had puked on it when sick). I wanted to get the same size since I had made clothes for her doll that will be keepsakes for years to come. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a doll in this size that didn't have some sort of noisy function, like crying or talking. I just turned the switch to off (it's nice that this doll has an off switch because it's rather loud) and she hasn't even noticed that it does anything. It looks just like her old Chou Chou and she loves it.

I purchased this doll as a Christmas gift for my 1 1/2 year old daughter, Isabella. She just loves it so much. She likes to pretend that she is a mommy. When she get tired, she enjoys pushing the baby onto mommy to hold and feed. She loves the "crib" that converts into a backpack or pocketbook.
She gets lots of enjoyment out of her new baby.

Just wish the clothes could come off for easy cleaning.

My daughter is a new "auntie", almost 11 years old. Loved the doll and carrier that transformed also.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. As soon as I took it out of the packaging she was crazy all over it. When she realized it talked as well she wouldn't put it down. She carries it all over and talks to it like a real baby. The hat is a bit annoying...always slipping off. Any movement will make the doll talk. But she enjoys it so those are not big issues.

My grand daughter loved the doll, since she just had a new baby sister. She was excited that it had a carrier and the car seat so it be next to her in the car. She said it was the best present EVER! She's 4 yrs old. I was very pleased.

Am trying to teach my granddaughter to say "I Love You". Thought this doll would help. When it was delivered, just happened to try it out. Doll would not make kissing sound or say half the things advertised, including "Love You'. Tried contacting toy company, thinking it might be a loose connection or something. I was advised to return doll. Running out of time for Christmas, I went to a store and tried dolls there. 5 out of 5 on shelf didn't work either. Ended up giving granddaughter the doll I had ordered but was highly disappointed with performance. Had it worked this doll could have been a 5 star product.

First (and I realize this isn't Amazon's or the Amazon Marketplace vendor's fault) but this doll arrived in a seemingly slapped together box sealed--loosely at that--with U.S. Post Office tape and stamped "Opened in transit." Evidently the USPS resealed the package. Lost in the shuffle was the packing slip. Thankfully the manufacturer's packaging was solid--the doll arrived intact and in working order. Little tricky getting the doll to say "Love You" and blow kisses--you have to hold the arm just so, and it's easy to make it say "See you" and "Bye Bye" instead (that is, the doll's electronics don't always do what you're trying to make the doll do). But it's fun for our daughter--got it for Christmas. She also received the Chou Chou "Mommy Make Me Better" doll, which does more than the "Bye Bye" doll and, therefore, gets played with more. But overall, the "Bye Bye" doll isn't a disappointment. Might be best for 2-1/2 to 3 year olds (my daughter is closer to 3-1/2).
