The stand is very nice, once put together. That is a task that should have at least 2 people. And put it together exactly where you intend to use it, as it is not easily moved from room to room. But once you have it up, it is very nice - with only a little bending when you sit or swing.

I really like this product and use it daily even at my 208 pound weight. After looking at numerous chair stands I decided to go with this model. I didn't like the more expensive ones that have one arm to connect the hammock chair. It just didn't appear as stable as this one. Also, I wanted something that was heavy (50 pounds), made of durable steel (not plastic) and had very simple setup and few parts. After 5 minutes of setup, I wondered if there was something else I needed to do, being that I'm the type of person who always has extra parts when assembling and rarely uses the instructions. For me, this is a fantastic buy for the price. The only down side of it is that it only comes in a white color. My wife swings too far back and the front comes off the ground 1/2 an inch and when she goes forward the exposed gray steel moves up a little. The exposed steel works well as the flexibility to smoothly rock the swing.

This stand is really sturdy, all coated steel and very easy to put together. I am a little over 100 lbs and I put this together in ten minutes and got it outside onto my lawn with no trouble. This is also easy to take apart, which is great for winter.

Easy to assemble - easy to relocate to different parts of the house or yard (need 2 folks to move it) and should I choose to, it's easy to take apart to store. I had the chair hammock for more than a couple of years, and didn't want to take on the home construction of putting up an arbor/other to hang the chair. This solution is GREAT!

This strong, solid, sturdy hammock chair stand blends elegant form with function. Our 4 boys (ages 5-25), put this chair stand through our abuse test and it passed with flying colors. The stand held steady in the face of chin up contests and flips around the frame (although we do not recommend such activities for the stand). Assembly was a breeze--it was up in less than 15 minutes. We selected this stand based on the reviews on Amazon and they were accurate. The stand is tall and hangs at a perfect length for the chair we purchased. If we had purchased a spring, the hammock chair (which we ordered separately), would have been too low. Also, the chair only comes in white and because of its color, is a bit of an albatross in our family room. The finish is professional and appears to be durable. The only way to improve the stand is to offer it in more color choices (perhaps black or brushed steel).

We purchased this swing stand because we had gotten a hammock swing when visiting in Mexico. The hammock swing arrived in great time the set up was very easy even though the instructions were very crappy. You could set this up without even needing instructions. The swing is very sturdy and very big. We thought that it would be smaller but am very happy with the large size. It fits great on my patio. It has steal bars that go inside of the side pieces and lets you adjust the height incase if you want a taller swing. The product is very sturdy and I feel that we'll have it for a very long time. One of the best purchases I've made in a long while.

It works as described. As other reviews have noted, it is large and takes up a lot of floor space. Since we use it inside, we trip over the base regularly. It is sturdy and holds either the Ikea swing or Kanoe baby hammock. When our 3 year old thrashed around in the swing, it remains sturdy. As indicated in other reviews, the instructions are poorly written, but the picture is easy enough to follow. It's a good value for the price.

We picked up this stand for a hammock chair we purchased earlier, and after realizing that we didn't have a good place in the house to hang it, I found this online. The stand showed up right away, and although the instructions to put it together are not very good, the parts are pretty obvious on how to put together. I set it up in 15 minutes, and immediately tested it myself...and almost fell asleep right there :) Overall, if you've got a chair to hang from it, this is the stand I would reccomend.

I really enjoy my hanging chair now because I use it indoors or outside,the stand is great, a bit big but at least it can be moved. Its a great option to having it hanging from the ceiling.

I am pleased with this stand, it just is a lot bigger than I expected. It does work well though. It came in a timely fashion and was easy to put together. It's just the size that I am not too pleased with but maybe it has to be that big to work.
