I looked at MANY hammocks before deciding on this one!
DD
The only thing that would be nice is if it had some longer rope attached so you can get around larger trees or cover more spread.

I was able to easily fit the hammock back into the attached stuff sack, even without meticulously folding it.

This hammock is HUGE! Surprised it is the travel hammock...the microrope is nice. Can do the same thing w/ some paracord (or even your bag compression straps!), a stick, and the right knots but, nice to have it all handy for you...One note, the colors do not seem to be true to the pictures. For example, the green looks more "lime" in the picture but really is more of a "fern" (more like "olive" or close to military green). Overall, the best hammock I could find for a great price!! Well worth it! (I looked at MANY hammocks before deciding on this one!) A great purchase, highly recommended. (under $30)

This hammock was a bit of a disappointment. It has a much longer hang than can be used with most hammock accessories such as bugnets and under quilts fitting it properly. It is light weight though and that is a plus. Of course when hammock camping you need to lay on the diagonal, but this particular hammock still hangs too long and the lay isn't quite right. I did relash the ends of the hammock, moving each end in about 10" and this helped tremendously with the lay and the sides not being so taunt. This will be a good "extra" hammock to have around for a friend who needs one for hammock camping...if you re lash the ends, or for someone to have in their yard for a short span of relaxation.

This hammock surpassed my expectations. Right out of the box, I liked the color better than what I had seen in the picture. It's a much darker green than the lime color shown. Once I had found two trees the right distance apart, I had the hammock up in one minute and was enjoying it the next.

I was initially apprehensive at climbing in, as the fabric is very thin and I feared the rope might slide. However, it held my 200 lb beautifully, even as I shifted around to find the most comfortable position. I found that, laying diagonally, I quite comfortably read a book and took a nap. My next project will be to spend the night in the hammock, though I would recommend the model with mosquito netting for serious campers.

PS. I was able to easily fit the hammock back into the attached stuff sack, even without meticulously folding it. This is especially important for me as I found it almost impossible with Eagles Nest models.

This hammock is light and comfy, not much to it other than some cord and several yards of parachute fabric. I pack this for most of my backcountry trips but do not sleep in it. I know that some backpackers like to sleep in their hammocks but it's not my preference. The included cords are a breeze to set up and easily adjustable. I recommend bringing extra cordage just in case you need to extend to trees or posts that are farther apart than about 9'. Follow the manufacturers recommendations and you'll be setting it up in no time.

This is a quality hammock at a reasonable price. I have a standard hammock frame and had to get a little creative with the tying because it was too long, but this was no problem with the way it is constructed you can move the tying point up to utilize some of the actual hammock fabric instead of relying on the (too long in my case) cord. I have this on an apartment deck and it's comfortable for laying down but I find I use it mostly by sitting in it sideways, like a hammock chair, and using my feet against the deck railing for some nice rocking action. This is the third hammock I've purchased for my standard stand, the first was a double hammock with spreader bars and that was just too wide for the deck. The second was an expensive ENO double nest that fit the frame at first but then stretched enough to where it touched the ground. Not good.

This is perfect and well constructed.

I ordered the hammock for a friend and he loves it. Personally I prefer the traveller lite and the moskitotraveller because those hammocks do not have the seems in them- but they are all lightweight and pack down to the soze of a softball- if your not sure baout this hammock check out the byer of maine site and check out the other hammocks they offer-

they are great quality hammocks and my personal favorite is the moskito because of the reversible hammock and the option of the bug net.
