This is a great cot. It is low profile, and made of strong materials. I was worried about the wire legs, but they are very, very strong. So strong that it takes some muscle to get them into their holes in the frame. This might be a drawback for someone who is weak in the arms. It folds up easy and is very portable. Also, I have a smaller frame, and although this cot is perfect for me, a larger frame person might want to consider a wider version for comfort in the shoulder area. You won't be disappointed in this one for the money!

Comfortable Sleep While Camping!,
By
This review is from: Byer of Maine Allagash Cot (Sports)
I took this cot to a 5 day music festival recently and was amazed with how well I slept on it. It made all the difference to get deep restful sleep every night. The low profile made it easy to fit in my small tent; and while others may find it too narrow, I appreciated that it did not take up all of the floor space of my tent.
It takes a bit of muscle to get the aluminum legs into the frame, but once it is put together it is very sturdy. I preferred using this to an air mattress because of its compact carrying size, weight and ease of use (and lack of deflation!). A wonderful addition to my camping arsenal, I look forward to bringing it with me on future camping endeavors.

Good cot for scout camp,

This is a good size cot for a smallish boy scout. It's a little small for an adult, but it fits in the tent well. The only complaint is it requires a lot of strength to set up and take apart, but it is lightweight and comfortable.

This cot is better than sleeping on the rock hard ground. But its really difficult to assemble and its no easier when you're stuck inside a 4X4 pup tent. I'm in pretty decent shape but I can't get the dang stands to fit in the holes so I have to have someone else do it. But its cheap and works and is better than paying a boatload for something I only use once in a great while. If you are going to use it a lot, I would steer you away and invest in something higher quality.
