wow, impressive....even legendary jams, December 23, 2009

Kinda suprised I'm the first reviewer on another amazing Zach Hill release this year, this time with Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos. I get the feeling that I will be continuously surprised by this album with repeated listens because it's so dense and technically explosive. It's too much for your brain to fully comprehend the first time. You're just kind of defenselessly pummelled by the awesomeness of the power, speed, and complex time signatures that get thrown down, plus they somehow are able to include vocals (wonder if they could do it live). My favorites are #1 & #6 which are just shockinginly good. These two were meant to play together just like Zach & Spencer Seim from Hella. They think alike with the same kind of hyper-creative, stream of conciousness rhythmic tendencies, and these two are really giving it all they got here which might possibly propell you into ecstatic trance.
